It's a 'take' on the 50s style lab blonde too dumb to be in a lab giving an excuse to explain everything in single syllables and on Dr.Who assistants of the time. Python never lampooned just one thing if they could get a whole bunch. I love 'Angus PODGORNY' - was in very uneasy dual control of the USSR at the time with Brezhnev who finally kicked him out in '77.
