well there must be some sort of flash system already on g1 because how else can it play youtube videos. However the other websites need up to date flash, I am sure g1 would update us with flash very soon

Not yet available, in RC (Release Canidate) form, it could be out from 2 weeks to 1 month and even more. Surely it will be out before the year is over though. All you guys are lucky, I'm stuck waiting for AT&T to release Android phone T_T.

The only major US carriers who have signed up with the Open Handset Alliance, and want Android phones are Sprint and T-Mobile.

Mutatedlove is right about the carriers that are part of the alliance currentlybut wrong about the carriers that want the phone. Early on the alliance announced that the smaller carriers would get the phone first and then big ones like AT&T and Verison. AT&T does want android but they will load tons of brand apps into the phone before we will ever get it, but it's android just uninstall them lol.
