does anyone have the slightest idea how they do the point scoring system? is it that they get up to a certain height an when they stop moving or go backwards then the points stop there or is it all about timing of the run?

they mesure it by the length the can get in the track and how many gates they pass and how many they fail to pass correctly

ok for a perfect score it's 350 points (if i remember correctly), for reverse it's -40 points, reverse more than the cars length its -60 points, -50 points for each tire or stick you cross, for straying of course is -40 if you keep three tires on the course, -60 if you keep two tires on the course and -80 for just one tire on the course and if you stray completely of course it's the end for you in the track

this penalty system is just guidelines, the judges can be milder or harsher when taking in how easy or difficult the tracks are, usually the tracks are pretty damn difficult hehe but in each competitions there are usually two relatively easy tracks, the drivers are just focused on clearing each gate correctly, and not miss the vehicle to far to the sides, you are allowed to go some distance of course before you are dismissed from the track

ok i found the rules, took a bit of time hehe, but anyway the point system has been changed quite much since last time I checked, 350 is the perfect score, -20 points for tires or sticks, if you stop -10 points (no penalty if you stop less than 5 secs), -40 for each time you reverse, -50 for crossing a tire (that is from your outer tire to your inner tire on the track), -100 if your vehicle only got one tire on the track, -50 for damaging the track deliberately, No discretion for judges
