man i gotta start doing this too. i got a few hardcore classes this semester and i wont have time to take classes really until this summer or whatever. it's a little harder tho cuz youre only seeing one side and its not like the instructor is there to guide you.. you have to pause and play it a million times to get it haha..

wow this guy is kind of giving dancers a bad name if hes gonna be callin people biters and noobs. we should be helping each other get better. in my opinion i think freestyling and choreography are just different. some people are better at one thing rather than the other. but i have to totally disagree with this guy about how choreo doesnt teach you dancing. choreo isnt just about learning moves,its about learning dynamics, foundation, & how ur body moves.

first off - shaun is not freestyling.

second - he's doing choreography which in my opinion is more difficult than freestyling.

third - it's not biting... people learn choreography all the time.

what is a home-routine? he developed a routine and he does it over and over, he has it memorized therefore it is not freestyling.

have you ever tried choreography? you have to know how to dance well, as well as how to follow directions. just try learning choreography to something like that.

it's not harder for him because he already has it memorized. it's harder to LEARN CHOREO THAN TO FREESTYLE. i know from experience. freestyling is easy.

and also, choreographing is harder for your information. its called freestyle because your moves are a "free expression"

as for choreographing, to be a more intricate choreographer you must know how to diverse your transitions from move to move as well as flow to the song. choreographing can be much well more complex than just a freestyle. you know nothing of dancing to be speaking.
