  • head up fool.

  • u did not even 40 right push ups since u havent done the whole movement 40 times. dont talk pls and stop making videos like that. i can do 80 perfect push ups in a row. u cannot do 3000 push ups when u do break between, it doesnt count. please stop acting like a pro.

  • @Cooller1993 This is a challenge video and my accountability. I never claimed to be an expert. With that said I would love to see a video of your 80 perfect pushups so I can learn from someone who knows more than I do. Let me know as soon as you post it!

  • Let me know when you start do the 2000 jumping jacks challenge ok.

  • Man, you are lame!!! I do 130 in 4 minutes, with not much that effort, and I'm not an athlete, how do THINK you can teach others do 3000 push ups??? That's false advertising!!

  • im 17 i can do 275 then im totaly out :)

  • im 14 and i cant do 80. is that good?

  • @idoGutman22 Its about average.

  • @ExplosionSadFace i dont practice btw.

  • @idoGutman22 no one cares how old you are twat

  • @bonzihunter who asked you morron? and the only reason your an ass is because you can only do like 12

  • 4:12

  • 3:12

  • Lol 40, i can do 50 and i weigh 90 kgs.

  • Sorry but not one of these would have counted in a military PT test

  • wow nice video, very challenging for me. I'm starting to do push-up at least 100 per day, just like yours.

  • you are not working any muscle to the extent you can tbh.

  • not working chest only indisde of ams thats why you struggle

    i do 120 3x per day

  • wrong form, shitty video :{

  • not extending your arms the whole way.

  • awesome vid but near the end it sounded like you said shit ups instead of sit ups lol

  • Comment removed

  • tip for the chin ups, for better form cross your legs so your only relying on your upper body, otherwise you start to use your legs as leverage for raising your body up.

  • you're doing the pushups all wrong you have to push up untill your arms lock and you also don't look at the ground you're supposed to have your head facing up

  • join the Army....your 100 a day aint shit.

  • alright! 60 push ups straight

  • you arent breathing right

  • Doing pushups fast like this is not the best way to get fit. If you want to build muscle and endurance, you have to go slow and steady, deep breaths in and out.

  • what a pussy

  • @eckopoppin

you called this kid a pussy. you are the one with a kitten video uploaded on your channel.....pussy.

  • @swollenbowel Thanks for noticing=]..too bad my sister uploaded it

  • You call that a pushups...? :P

  • 40 your a bitch Join the army

  • i look like you doing push ups but at the 40th one

  • first 30 seconds I thought you had no legs ;P

  • chin ups and pull ups are the same, ask arnold

  • I do them,i love being fit but there are no words that can explain my hatred towards pushups, other exercises I enjoy but pushups I rezent

  • i like the part when u said go do your 100 done your like saying like how many times 5 or 9 times

  • rofl. I can do 49 without stopping..

  • @jason7456 so can the weakest kid in my school...

  • I been wondering why this video is getting so many views, and why so much drama here. I think we can all safely blame the title of this video lol. we all came here to see some average joe do 3000 push ups, and we all felt a little cheated when it wasn't lol. Hope that teaches up loaders not to lie in their titles from now on (even though up to now i defended him).

  • i can do 45 !!! :D

  • Try not to lift your knees up while you do your pullups.

  • I've only just started and i can tell you're doing them wrong... First of all you are going too fast, you need to do them nice and slow to work out the upper body. Secondly you need to match your legs with your body, when you are going up and down your body is going up then your legs are still lower.

  • @SomeGeekOnHere

When you start doing alot of reps, dude trust me loose form is GONNA happen. No one in the world can more than 200 absolutely perfect slow push ups, if even that, go watch the people who did the 3000 records and what you will see barley looks like a push up. If he wanted bigger pecs im sure he would be doing bench press anyway.

  • lol i just do 100 all at once,

lol no i can only do 75 in a row

  • i have a friend that did p90x and he's younger than me (14) and he can do 70+ pushups in aa minute.

  • It's called pullups when your hands face the bar Bro. Good form though. If you do an instructional video, make sure your lingo is in check.....you look and sound stupid as shit if you don't.

  • @maudoofal74 How exactly can you do any form of chinup/pullup without your hands facing the bar? =D I appreciate your feedback and in no way ever claimed to be an expert. This video is for a challenge group a buddy and I did on Facebook. Also, I looked all over Google to learn more about chinups/pullups and there really seems to be no real definition. Someone made a great point on the bodybuildingDoTcom forum. "In which version are you not pulling? And in which version does your chin not go up?"

  • @dude04345 It is just a common agreement like any other word: pull up -> overhand grip and chin up -> underhand grip.

  • @dude04345 Palms facing you is a chin up, palms facing outward is a pull up. They work completely different muscles.

  • @76Cent no, they don't work completely different muscles. certain hand positions focus on certain muscles more than others, but they work the exact same muscles because you're doing the same movement.

  • @eamonob84 That's incorrect.

  • @76Cent that's not incorrect. do chin ups not work the muscles in your biceps and upper back and work other muscles instead?

  • @eamonob84 Pull-ups do not work out the biceps anywhere near as much as the chin up. Elbow position matters hell-a-lot as well.

  • @76Cent read my first post again. i said the statement that the two movements work "completely different muscles" is not correct. i said that certain hand positions focus on certain muscles more than others, but the muscles worked are the same muscles because it is the same pulling movement.

  • @eamonob84 I appreciate the continuous shows of respect during this intellectual argument, but the base of this argument is on the false premise that a pull-up and a chin-up are the same exercise working the same muscles, which I refuse to agree with. A pull-up also works the Latissimus dorsi; a muscle in the back which isn't stimulated during a chin-up.

  • @76Cent of course--i have no reason not to be respectful. i disagree with the latissimus dorsi not being worked during chin ups. i just did weighted chin ups several hours ago at the end of my oly lifting workout and the two main muscles i felt (and always feel no matter which grip i use) were the lats and biceps. in fact, i can't think of a way to pull something without activating the lats. even the second pull of cleans and snatches, which don't use arms, activate the lats if done correctly.

  • @76Cent

SIGH, it don't matter , there is no universal truth to it. a chin is a chin, no big deal. Its so dum to even complain about that. How can you be sure that what you say is true for every quarter of the world? you cant, can you? maybe that's how it goes in your gym, but it aint so everywhere. Accept that.

  • @TonyMon16 I will, when you accept I give less than 2 ****s...

  • @76Cent fair enough dude. :)

  • @76Cent thank you Sir.

  • @76Cent YOU smart mother fucker you!!! lol i looked so stupid when i was reading this, i imagined myself doing a chin up and im like ok when i do taht these muscles are working, then i did a pull up and im like wow ok and these muscles are working i never knew that! lmfao!

  • @76Cent oh God please help me!!! you work the same muscles but in diferent proportions my friend.. or what? u wanna create some new muscles?? pff!!!

  • @76Cent They actually dont work very different muscles. But a little. Chin-ups are 10% easier if done ¨correctly¨ compared to hang-ups which dude on video did. Which he did very good (some chipping in the end), but very good overall,

  • @dude04345 Thank you so much for agreeing with me.

Your words, "Just cause pull ups and chins DO NOT effect different muscles in the way you think they do, you need to learn alot lol. They only change they way in which those muscles are working."

Your last attempt at sentence structure says it all. Good job buddy. "At a boy."

By the way, it took a at least 5 minutes to dicier the head turd that you so elegantly jotted onto your reply box.....both replys Got to school dude.

  • @maudoofal74 ... you sound like a hater trying hard not to sound like a hater...-_-"

  • @Kajujuu no....not hating. It's just fact. His "pullup" form is great and he is progressing quite quickly. I didn't make up the names....I just know what each is called. If you would like, call them palms facing away from you chinups, and palms facing towards you chinups. Not as catchy and not quite right....just saying.

  • @maudoofal74 who gives a shit?

  • @ReaperXC apparently you and the nerd/nerds who made this video. Get it right son, or don't spit any instructional non sense.....simple as that.

  • @maudoofal74

I guess Arnold, and countless other bodybuilders with bodies alot s better than you will ever have all look stupid as shit ye, cause they all of them call chin ups/pull ups all the same thing regardless of hand place.?If what yous say is true, and pull ups and chins are actually not the same name for same exercise, the guy who i invented close grip underhand chins is also an idiot , cause they always state hands position in the name . . Dont pass your own gym lingo on here .

  • @TonyMon16 first off, you're a complete idiot because when replying to a response, your grammar should not be that of an eight year old. Unless of course you are an eight year old. In that case, your mommy should be slapped for allowing you to hold an account on BIG BOY websites. I am sure your speech is the same you illiterate douche. But, I digress. It is fact that hand position does play a pivotal in the overall development of your upper back while performing back exercises.

  • @maudoofal74

WOW. you need to stop taking roids, as it sounds like you are turning in to a raging maniac. You had zero rebuttal, and just made my case for me. Grammar doesn't mean shit in posts, as long as people can see what you mean, of which you obviously did cause you replied with your verbal diarrhoea . Just cause pull ups and chins DO NOT effect different muscles in the way you think they do, you need to learn alot lol. They only change they way in which those muscles are working..rofl

  • @TonyMon16 thank you so much for agreeing with me.

  • Try going all the way up. Cheater

  • I still don't know what would make push ups easier. :\

  • i collapsed on 50...got any advice?

  • doin the pullups using your legs to help it's cheating d00d

  • my record for pull-ups /chin ups is with palms in: 17 in 30 seconds

  • LOL u have musuls and u can do 40 i hav no musuls and my record 89 :) but i stoped abaut 1 years and now i can do 30 i just try :D

  • 50 each morning and evening, your not gonna get ANYWERE with that. After 50 pushups you should have maby 2 days rest.

  • @tankfritt1 Exactly what I was thinking. A minimum of 36 hours between 2 sets of pushups. Your muscles need that recovery time. I'm doing 3 sets of 12 with about 1 minute between every set right now. Just started a few days ago. I wonder if I should do bigger sets in the future, or just more sets of 12 in a row. What do you think?... Also, palms flat on the ground or fists?...

  • @ChrisGhysel You should do as many push ups as you can in one set. If it's starting to get real easy, put your feet on a sofa or something and it will get a little tougher, you can place books under your hands so you can go a little deeper to amp it up a little bit more, you can have a back pack with weights too. Think like for every 20 reps you make during a workout you ad a day of rest. But you need to do every set to failure. Or near failure.

  • @tankfritt1 I just started out, so I thought doing smaller sets with few pushups would be less demanding. I'm doing it more for the cardio, less for muscle building. But I'll do one big set like you say every few days, and try to build up the smaller sets to say 3 times 40 per session within a few weeks/months. And yes, I do touch the ground every time... ;) By the way, you didn't answer that one: flat palms or fists?...

  • @ChrisGhysel I thought i anwsered that with placing books under your hands, only advantage with pushups on the fists is that you can go slightly deeper.

  • @ChrisGhysel Do to failure, if you want it to be less demanding take away sets not reps. Pushups are not gonna get you cardio either then you should run instead. But when you do cardio, unless you workout aswell your muscles are gonna shrink. So it would be smart to add a little muscle building excersises.

  • @ChrisGhysel But your gonna get pretty one dimensional only doing pushups. You should ad a few excersises.

  • @tankfritt1 As for the one dimensional remark. I suppose putting my hand below me, next to me, and wide, also helps for some variation and different muscle training?... Maybe I'll start to do halfway cruches too. My legs are fine, I do everything on foot, so I walk +5 miles a day easily... ^^

  • @ChrisGhysel Yeah you can do different kinds of pushups for variation, but they all are connected to the same muscle groups more or less, you can change to get more of shoulders, more of triceps or more of chest, so don't train all those different ways just as much since they are more or less connected, take a set away from the regular pushups, and a few set triceps pushups, which is when you hold your hands together, stand against a wall and do pushups like that for shoulders.

  • @ChrisGhysel touch your chest to the ground also btw

  • @ChrisGhysel Honestly man, I've been working out a while, so plz dont take this as Im coming down on you or anything but....no, 36 hours for two sets is kindof ridiculous. I do 5 sets a day every other day. The first two are my warmup sets (30 pushups per set) the next two are sets designed to wear down my muscles (40 and then 60 repectively) and then my last set which I max out i.e. go to failure. I usually get around 80 on that set. The thing is, with high weight low reps (next message)...

  • @ChrisGhysel continued...anyway, high weight low reps you do need to wait for about 36 hours, but low weight high reps (pushups) you dont need to wait for that long at all. Occasionally, Ill do them several days in a row, and it really doesnt hurt you. That's what's really nice about pushups. Anyway, like I said in the other one, Im not coming down on you or anything, but you dont have to wait that long. But keep up the good work! Pushups rock the world :) oh they make you stronger too :D

  • @tankfritt1 that makes no sense...you just said that he wont improve doing just 50 push ups in the morning at night...wouldn't he improve less if he worked less?

  • lol u can do alot, i cant even do 1

  • Wait, so do I complete as many as possible? Or do as many on feet then go to knees to get 100?

  • okay, this dissapointed me so much because I expected him to be doing the 3000 in one set...cause I know the record for one set is 6006 :( oh well...

  • @MasterGuitaristKyle 6006????!!!??? do u have that link?

  • @b5ist I WISH...my pt instructor told me about it, but I've never youtube searched it....right now my record for one set non stop 104, so I have a ways to go lol...Im trying to get 200 :D

  • @MasterGuitaristKyle oh. ya for one set mine is 121. i tried the pyramid pushups with my sergeant but they killed me. i'd love to b able to do 200

  • @b5ist yeah I hate pyramid pushups. have you ever done shoulder pushups against a wall? THOSE just butcher me :/

  • @MasterGuitaristKyle ive never even heard of them. ill look it up and try

  • I did one hundred easily XD

  • I do kickboxing and am only at my yellow belt, but at that grading you need to do 30 sit-ups, 30 chin-ups and 30 push ups all straight after another. With each belt the count goes up by 10 for each there is around 20 belts up to black including tips.Thats a shit ton of fitness when Im hopefully finally gonna get there. I just started this challenge and started on 50 now am on day 8 And am on 66,I am going up 2 a day It is physically and mentaling tiring me any tips to regenarate energy?Im 13 btw

  • @SpudNip17 Do an army jrotc or summer program. your pushups will definitely go up and they r very strict on form so not only do u have bragging rights you get alot stronger. im 14 and can do pyramids, which is 121 with 5 seconds between each set. look it up and practice those aswell. good luck.

  • @b5ist Ok thanks! :)

  • man i don`t understand "how you can easily do 3000 push-ups" well you did like 100. pls someone help me i don`t understand this video , how can i do 3000 push-ups...

  • @j2rik0 uhm do 100 pushups a day for thirty days

  • easy mate

  • I cud do 60 in on shot, but it kills me to do 40 more in the next hour or so.

  • Ako ti uradis 3000,ja cu 5000 kao od sale...

  • chuck norris can do 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 pushups in 1 hour

  • wtf only 40 i can do 50 at least

  • nice job jason. you are still lookin good man.keep up the good wrk.

  • I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but that's the worst way to do a push up. You're going to get so many shoulder problems from flaring out your elbows like that. Your breathing is improper and you really shouldn't spread your arms out so far. Also, try bringing your arms up all the way straight. If you do that, you'll get so much more out of your workout.

  • @ImRyanClark Hey man I appreciate the tips! I'm always open to new insights and tips from those who know more than I do. Thank you

  • Thats how I always do mine lol

  • I've done 700 pushups and 700 situps in 1 hour...shall I record it next time?

  • I don't know if you read comments here but I think you could do many more if your breathing was better. Your breathing is actually pretty bad and that restricts the oxygen distribution into your muscles. I just recently started push ups again because I can't go to gym. The secret is not trying for as many as possible but do as many as possible with the perfect technique so the entire muscle group intended to be hit benefits. Good breathing also expands the chest cavity, joints and ligaments.

  • I entirely thought you meant 3000 consecutive pushups. XD

I got 250 before I saw this (sets of 50) today. I thought that was good, then I saw some dude that did 14000 in a row. Thats inhuman.

  • can you only do one set a day or can you space out your sets to recooperate?

  • WITH TRANSCRIBE AUDIO:

    1:33 - I have no authority

1:36 - so and I think that's really what I did for just raise the standard of living

    3:35 - assassins house

  • i can do 75 push ups and i'm 13

  • @ironrodext eventually you'll be 18 and then you'll only be able to do like 20 unless you start working out now :)

  • @TzarnazProductions i do work out i curl 65 and bench 82

  • hover yourmouse on the cc below the screen

click transcribe audio and laugh out loud

  • Three thousand? are you insane?

  • /watch?v=yxZUz8vZkq0

me doing 60situps and 60 push ups in 90sec.

    pls try it out...

  • for those who think 100 press ups is easy its not. this guy does every single one perfectly and when u do it perfectly u really feel it. he done a seriously good job and now im gonna try upload my own challengelol

  • @REKONist and you must be blind -.-

  • 3k push ups and u barely have any muscle..

  • @ahmedkibaba big muscles dont mean ur strong.

  • dude!! keep your arms straight when u come up!! cheater!! XP

  • thirty four, thirty three, thirty two, thirty one, thirty. twenty nine, twieight, iswaen, isa, eh, twenty five.

  • nice men im going to try that out!but one time im only wondering that you must do pushups slow in controlled manner on very fast.please explained it

  • your good. i can only do about 30 in one go. im doing 100 a day but im not sure if i should keep the 100 or set a farther goal lets see 200 nxt month. would that be ok?

  • I do around 50... Might try the 3000k chalenge..

  • Dude. Starting out I got 60 done and second day just 50 lol. But then I used to benchpress like 100 kg (220 pound?) when I weighed like 75 kg's. Btw then I did 80 reps without actually deing... But now I'm a little out of shape. Won't ever take part with these weird challenges cause I only have one opponent which is me, but good to see I'm not the only one trying to get (back) into shape..!

  • 84

  • Aren't your elbows way to far out when you're doing the pushups???

  • @Tsteve08 Seems that way to me, and he's not locking on the way up, so it doesnt look like a full pushup to me

  • ur not doing ur muscles any good with how fast ur going , you can probably do 25 real push ups

  • Are you supposed to do it every day right now I can do up to 30 Pushups in a row but I do it every other day

  • day 1 :15

    day 2 : 23

    day 3: 34

  • I think your form for push ups are off a little but it may just be the angle of the camera, if its the angle you have my apologies ahead of time. from what I can see your hands are too far apart not in line with your shoulders very well and your elbows are flaring out more then they should. keep your elbows in closer to your sides and push ups will but much easier for you and better for your shoulders , grip ground with hands and pull with hand towards ground.

  • i cant do push ups for anything so i try to do a set of 25 in the morning b4 i even go 2 the bathroom and at night b4 i even touch my bed and 5 sets of 10 throughout the day and i can say it is getting a little easier and it helps to count backwards

  • at the end it sounded like the door frame would break xD

  • Good video,

i can only do max 3 push ups, but i don't think i'm doing it right.

    Because i can bench 35kg and i'm 12. I'm 5'1-5'2 and weigh around 9'5 stone.

  • @BillyXbox360 You really shouldn't bench at ur age.

  • @MachineDestroyer I'm a lot better now.

    I'm still 12 and now i can bench 55kg for 5 reps.

    I'm now 5'3 and 137 lbs.

  • @BillyXbox360 What bout the push ups?

  • @MachineDestroyer I started at 3 pushups and now i can do around 75 in one go.

  • @BillyXbox360 holy shit dude im 12 to almost 13 and i can only do 20 pushups in 1 go and bench like 70

  • @BillyXbox360 Yeah buddy you should really wait a little bit longer i know it sucks but you could really mess up your growth in your muscles.

  • I used to be a Fitness trainer, but I quit because 99% of fitness trainers and gym patrons are faggots

  • Charlie bronson -the prisnor, does 3,00 press ups a day, and he's in jail.

  • im 13 and i can do 50 pushups i wouldnt say easily but im not out of breath as much as him and he had trouble doing 40

  • @cmubo what does age have to do with anything??? that's nothing i can do more than u buddy

  • @westplayer03 alls ive got to say is : not arsed

  • 3000 pushups - you're insane. I'm on round 2 of P90X. Round one could barely do pushups on my knees, but now I'm up to 10 on my toes. Not sure about 3000, but I'll sign up. Insanity next for me. Already have the program. Great results by the way.

  • This is pretty sweet, i did P90x Chest shoulders and triceps a few days ago and i "decided" to do 100 of decline, wide, standard and diamond push ups. WOW it was insanely hard especially since i was using the perfect push up with all of them besides diamond. Goes to show that you can do anything if you push yourself hard enough! I did Back and Biceps today and i doubt i'll be able to lift my arms tomorrow :]

  • I've only accomplished 420 push ups. But sorry I don't have a video. Btw, you don't need to drink shakes and stuff to keep healthy. Do it the old fashioned way, Cranberry or Grapefruit juice. Burns the weight alot. But what am I saying? This is been the 3rd week of P90X lol

  • i can do 30 with my arms getting tyred around 25?

  • Isnt Shakeology like $120 a tub(or packet)?

  • nice man im only on day like 16 tommorow and i noticed that i whent from being able to do like 15 standard push ups to just barely 20 and like 3 military push ups to like 7 or 8 . im eating the best i can i hope for gr8 results

  • Just keep at it, push a little further eah day. This challenge is about repeating the small steps to achieve the bigger goal. Keep it up!

  • @TheCrimsonKing09 Whats the difference between military push ups and normal push ups?

  • dude this is great

  • Thank, are you part of the Facebook group?
