I have a Jag! It has a lot of so-bad-its-good vibe over it. This game is probably the pinnacle of that! The fighting is crappy and the characters move slow as hell..It looks good and the gore is pretty funny and that couples with the psycho story and the asian guy saying fun stuff makes this a pretty funny so-bad-its-good experience. For the record the Jags only good game I know of is probably Rayman and it's hardly an exclusive. Otherwise maybe Zool2 and the Wolfenstein port...

Kasumi Ninja is not nearly as bad as everyone (who most likely have never played it) thinks it is. It has better graphics than every version of MK (including arcade), and has similar gameplay-just a bit slower. On the other hand, Double Dragon 5 is a lousy fighting game and the worst fighting game on the Jag.

I thought the blood staying on the ground and on the fighters made it more realistic and definitely one of the bloodiest fighting games for the time and the fatalities were fairly cool. The graphics were far better than anything out there for the home consoles. If they would've taken their time and refined the gameplay a bit more it could've been a decent fighter.

that game is creative and at the same time uncreative. creative because of angus's fireball. no other fighting game shows a fighter launching fireballs from the kilt. and uncreative because of senzo, habaki and gyaku (1st form). they're just pallete swaps of each other. the only thing that differentiates them is senzo's fatality. habaki and gyaku fatalities are the same!

This game just shows how out of touch Atari was... the horrible, generic Asian announcer (none of the top-tier fighting games back then had generic, china-men voices for announcers - leave it to Atari!), the horrible characters (a guy wearing a kilt?), and the horribly uninspired fatalities. This might have been 'cool' to the basement shut-ins that thought Combat and Atari Basketball was fantastic shit, but to the rest of the gaming public it was shit.
