@COGHwilliam The embed tag has an attribute whose value tells it to size the player to fit, so that wouldn't happen. On that note, if you click the button on the YouTube player to expand it before you embed the QuickTime player, the QuickTime player will also be expanded.
@BvOBart I found a video by a YouTube user named cwade12c explaining how to do this. However, the script he linked to is outdated and no longer works, so I wrote a new one based off my YouTube video-downloading script.

@smmndchaos It doesn't appear to work for Internet Explorer. I'm using Firefox but I think it will also work for Opera and possibly Chrome.
