This car has a DSG(Audi version is known as S-tronic) gearbox, gear changes and hitting the rev limiter were under the control of the ECU. The ESP had sensed the squirrelling across the road and held the gearbox in 1st until it was satisfied that control was maintained. It's called a safety system for this reason.

Ttrs should shift up even in manual mode to protect the box, same as it will slow drop gears down in manual when you slow down. Does on mine!

So the TT-RS S-tronic trans lets you sit there and bounce of the rev-limiter, whereas the TTS shifts automatically at the rev limiter? I wonder how one could re-program the TTS to do the same...

@vipeme1 hello, my friend has a 350hp TTS 2010 with reprogrammed stronic, it doesnt change gear automaticlt on manual mode. Also launch ocntrol is now from 5.000rpm

ich bin nicht gerade ein profi was getriebe angeht. aber ich hab schon so viele dsg videos gesehen...warum schaltet die automatik schon so früh hoch? hier von 2 in 3 und von 3 in 4... 2. hätte man noch weiterdrehen können & 3.er ist ja kla :P

ich denke mal man kann das einstellen wie das dsg schaltet oder?

kenn mich bei audi/vw nicht so aus :D:D aber wär ja lachhaft wenn nich... naja porsche pdk : )
