very helpfull indeed, i run 7miles minimum in 60minutes and in some good days i do between 8 and 12miles in 64minutes , starting slowly and accelerating helps in endurance, whenever i start on high speed in the first 10min i end up praying that time would fly, as opposed to running first 20mins easier then accelerating, i get more energetic and stronger with progress, thanks for the tips, peace en One love!
@kurtgarcia911 NO! i think YOU are the one who is GAY? he is just a very nice guy helping fit healthy people like me get better and live longer, and fat pig assholes like u should shut th efuck up !!!
I'm hoping to do a 10 mile race quite soon, and to be honest I'm shitting myself. I'm used to running about 10k (6 miles), I've done a run or two recently for a little over 9 miles and it leaves me strained, exhausted and with my leg muscles feeling terrible for days. Hopefully I can pace it properly, but I still suspect I'll be one of the last to finish.
This video was helpful. I ran a 10 miler about a month ago and I finished in 1:12:25. I ran a half-marathon a couple days ago and finished in 1:37:46. So my pace was gradually getting slower.
I think I need to resist going really fast at the beginning and gradually work up my pace instead.
I definitely have better results when I do it this way... In fact, my half marathon PR was set after I had to run 3 miles to the start of the race because the bus didn't show up... I think there's something to getting your body warmed up in a certain rhythm that, after a little while, makes you feel stronger. Endorphins, blood flow, warm elastic muscles, focus and relaxation...
keep it up!!! dont stop moving. you"ll get better and better the more you do.im doing 5 klm in 18.40 and its taken me half the year to get there. so worth it.
@App1eSauc3 Not finish ?? more like break down 5 mins later or you end up seeing them after the first block with their hands around their waist panting.

3 part strategy for racing a 10 mile to 1/2 marathon:
1. go out fast
2. pick it up
3. kick
It works every time!
medliberty 2 years ago
thats not a tip, its the way u run.
uperbenji 2 years ago
actually this is a "tip" because most people jack rabbit start and shoot off the start line and end up not finishing
