@liberafan4eva I think this was one of the first pieces I learned over forty years ago, and have never considered it difficult! If anything, of the eight I find it the easiest...!
I love the detached quarter notes in the voices that aren't carrying the theme! That sounds really cool, although not the original marking i don't think, but still very cool :)
why does this make me think of carnivals.

I'm starting to think that they play them all so fast so as to get more onto a CD...

This was an awesome clip! The style is definitely German!

How can a style be nationalistic?
tetrisclock 1 year ago
@tetrisclock; good question, if you listen to the first of the two preludes, you can hear all the German influences, especially with the pedal notes.
poopingeneral 1 year ago
Ah, you mean the way it was written. Yes, I can hear that, plainly.
I thought you mean the performer was playing in a German way.
tetrisclock 1 year ago
@tetrisclock its the style of northern german composer at the 18th century. nothing to do with nationalism,
tsboy92 1 year ago
Like I had said; I thought he was saying that the playing style was German, not the style in which it was written.
