  • ya ever wanna sell it, keep me in mind. i've wanted one ever since i first saw the movie when i was like, seven years old.

  • This is outstanding! Thanks for sharing. :)

  • When we get home i'm gonna smack your momma.

  • @mik9765 the correct quote was 'when I get home I'm gonna punch your momma in the mouth' which was one of my favourite Buford insults. Used it at my mother's wedding along with 'sumbitch'.

  • This looks like fun to drive with the lights on.

Do you have a permit to?

  • man that is awesome...

  • nice car, definitely don't see too many of the mid 70s Pontiac mid sized cars around

  • awesome! ..all you need is white door jambs and a blue interior!!

  • Original owner PLUS you would mean -2- owners!!!

  • beautiful!

  • i dont care if your names brodrick crawford, you cant drive this p o s on my highway!

  • Wow....Absolutely AWESOME ride, from my favorite movie of all time!! Damn!

You keep the wheels spinnin' and the beavers grinnin'!

  • I hop you take care of that thing.

  • Oh yes, in garage and never, ever sees rain! Only sunny days on cruises, shows and parades for Ole Buford!

  • That's awesome!!! I want one!

  • I know, Ertl made one but it was incorrectly a 1980 Pontiac Bonneville. No model kits, diecast, promos or anything of the 76-77 LeMans 4-door...we can wish!

  • @kls981

I know about the miniature one ERTL made, like the Hot Wheels....but I was talking about the 1/25 scale size one.....lots of those miniature Pontiacs got repainted and made into Hazzard County police cars for the "Dukes of Hazzard" playsets...

  • @kls981 The 1980 Pontiac Bonneville was actually introduced by Ertl for Smokey and the Bandit II which is correct, as that is the car Buford drove in the second movie.

  • I just wish a toy company like ERTL would make a toy version of this car...by the way, you got a nice looking car! Treat it better than Buford T. Justice would, LOL!

  • Yes, I am keeping mine till death too...my wife said I could! Thanks for tips....I probably need to wait until my teenagers are into their more "responsible" years first. They enjoy driving it. LOL

  • on your list of things to do add a stroke kit and get a a performance grade cam shaft i am a little behind you i still got to do the body work on mine i plan on keeping mine til i die i want to put some videos up soon to i been thinking about it

  • ha ha i FAIL lol i did mean 400 also you have to cosider it had a diffrent shock and spring package and breaks to there were many differences but the point still stands you made the grandma addition look like the police package English no not primary i suppose i am just a fan of original cars so hows that thing handle any way ? you should drive around and pull people over with it

  • I do appreciate the props mate! We will be making another video this summer with updates (stripped off all the exterior moldings, new grill, cleaned up under the hood among other things). We are, as finances allow, putting a 4 BBL carb into it, new intake, dual exhaust and maybe chrome up the valve covers, etc. We just enjoy taking it to parades and local shows. If I pulled people over, that would feel too much like I was at work!

  • hey i love the car i got one to not show room far from it but you fucked up buddy all though you have there the greatest car ever made the cop car had a 450 FAIL you wasted your money to look like a retard in the eyes of every one who knows about the Pontiac la mans i bet you didn't even put a 4 barrel carb in it just total it and get the insurance money so mine will be more rear thanks

  • Wow, your comments make the following points:

    1. You actually don't have the self professed knowledge of the Pontiac Enforcer that you claim, as the Enforcer Police Package actually came equipped with a 400, not a 455.

    2. You don't have children, due to the fact that you don't understand that kids enjoy creating things with their fathers and they couldn't care less about motor sizes of cars.

    3. English is not your primary language and you haven't learned how to use SPELL CHECK!

  • @kls981 nice... I never understand why people who have such poor communication skills try to denigrate another person. It's always ineffective. You handled that beautifully and pointed out his/her shortcomings ever so diplomatically. :)

  • Thank ya good buddy! It ended with some friendly banter, so it's all good! Take care and I'm gone.

  • Yes sir, we will actually. Done quite a bit to it since this one was made.

  • You should make more videos in the future. I'd love to hear that engine purr like a kitten as you put it.

  • Oh my God, I almost thought this was behind the scenes footage!

  • LOL...thank you much!

  • Montague is not a real place in Texas correct?

  • Montague is an actual county in Texas, but not the same county that Texarkana is seated in, which makes it a geographic error by the producers of Smokey and the Bandit!

  • You ought to take that to the bandit Run they've been having each year. Little ladies in New Jersey must really like their Pontiacs. My 1978 Bonneville came from NJ and as of a year ago had 70,000 miles. Yes, little old lady owner, lol.

  • We thought about it...I know a guy from Wisconsin took his Bufiord car last year. His is featured in the current High Performance Pontiac magazine.....sounds like they do! 2 door or 4 door Bonneville?

  • @kls981 It's a 2 door. I have some videos of it on my account..take a look.

  • Sweet! Does the local law say anything about those blue lights? Any plans for a larger engine? 400 or 455?

  • The local and state laws in Missouri allow for one to DISPLAY obsolete emergency lights on vintage emergency vehicles as long as they are not activated on public street (unless in parade). No immediate plans to switch motors as of yet....but the thought has crossed my mind for sure!

  • wow! I'd give anything to own one of those and dress up as sheriff Buford T Justice :D I'd love to have a race with that and a 77' trans am across Texas with a CB Radio :D. Nice find! and fantastic job! I'd love to own one. Enjoy it i am envious.

  • @andrewz105 Thank you buddy! We are enjoying for sure, it won a plaque at a local car show Saturday!

  • Nice find. That thing is clean!

  • @Fendervana Thank you for your comment...we are proud of it!
