I want one of those machines! i dont know what for since i havent even started my cookie decorating courses but it looks like fun! hahaah btw that lady talks like Ellen D'generous!
Hello Jenny! Congratulations. I love your recipes, videos and especially the really nice way how you explain everything. I am really looking forward to your new recipes and videos and wonder when I will be able to see them. Today I enrolled to your newsletter.
How do you ship these without them breaking? I am trying to start an online cookie biz and my biggest problem/worry is how to ship without breakage or melting of chocolate.
I forgot to mention. Your cookies are beautiful and thanks for making all the videos for everyone. I'm going to try to attempt your sugar cookie and royal icing to make onesie cookies today for a upcoming baby shower for a friend.
I own a shrink wrap machine which I use to package burp cloths I make. Could I use that to use to package my cookies? Should I be looking for a special type of sleeve for food or worry about the heat gun melting or distorting my royal icing or cookie???? I also bought some pleated bags as a back up and was going to try to use my machine to seal them. What do you think?
You will just have to test out the shrink wrap machine on the cookies. If you can make it efficient, great. If you can't, then switch to a faster system. With help I can package 200 cookies per hour or 100 by myself. Can you do that with a shrinkwrap? I don't know.
Hi Jenny! Congratulations on a job well done! I'm sure those at Showtime must be very happy with the finished product...didn't you say that the job was due today? I'm glad you had help as Catherine seems very nice. Please keep in touch to let everyone know how you are. Once again, well done, indeed!
I'd love a sealer machine like that! My daughter would especially love the job of sealing the sleeves.. I'm sure of it! Very interesting! How much do one of those machines cost if I may ask?

Food sanitation requires that the person handling the cookie wear gloves.

Food Safety guidelines would require that whoever packages these cookies wear gloves.

Great video. Where do you get those cute little bows to put on the bag?
Also, do you put your edible image onto we icing or do you dry the icing and just wet the surfact for the image to stick?
chasar9 2 years ago
I make all the bows by hand. As for the edible image, it goes onto wet icing and dries into the icing.

Hi there: your cookies are AMAZING!!!! Can I ask what printer are you using for your edible photos?

I am using a Canon IP4000, which is a couple of years old. It's been a trooper, tho!

Hi Jenny, Im happy to see that your business is doing well, if I may ask where is a good place to purchase the cellphane bags and the machine

I got mine online from a website called Papermart. They have everything you could want for packaging.

Why don't you just cut off the extra top of the bag after you seal it?

Not as neat.
