  • like your clip .. keep it up =) thanks

  • I couldn't do it. Just give a straight answer. Seems to me the money has to come from somewhere. If it isn't coming from the federal government, do they expect the states to cover it? How? And what really annoys me is the passing of legislation that doesn't come into effect until after the current Congress or President is gone. What's up with that? If you believe in what you've created, then make it so while you have to answer for it.

  • @K7KTR So because you didn't plan for your future, everyone else should pay for you? I'm 24 and have 20,000 saved for retirement. It's called personal responsibility. Also, give the bush bashing a rest, if your really that concerned over federal spending, join the tea party.

  • WOMAN! ANSWER THE QUESTION, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO CUT TO PAY FOR THIS?!! I can't believe the Chariman's patience! Yes I would have been yelling.

"We don't know what it's going to cost" she said. That's pathetic.... Do you do things and commit to stuff if you don't know what it's going to cost? It's your money, your children's, and your grandchildren's money these irresponsible people are spending!

  • The unfortunate fact is that this is the truth behind the Obama Administration's claim that the healthcare reform bill would save the tax payer money.

  • Very snakey, always answers with rhetoric. Wake up America, we are going the wrong way!

  • She's good.

  • It looks to me like Rehberg doesn't know his health care federal v. state responsibilities. He tried to lead the Secretary down several paths, to use his own mangled metaphor, but couldn't get "answers" from her because the questions didn't make sense.

  • @pamenglish3 The questions made sense to me. He was more or less asking the same question several different ways because she wouldnt answer it. It was quite simple. You said it would cost X dollars to "help" the states cover these high risk people during this transition period between now and 2014. Now its being said that amount will only last till 2011-2012.....how are you going to cover the remaining 2 years? In the end her answer was "we dont know how much it is going to cost".

  • @pamenglish3 - You are not listening and don't know the constitution. He does know what he is talking about, that's why he voted against federal healthcare. This is A STATE / LOCAL issue, NOT federal.

  • Congressman, great jobs forcing the Secretary to answer the question and say that they don't know how much the Healthcare overhaul specifically the high risk pool portion is going to cost.
