  • This movie was spoiled for me by Spencer Nolan Rice >:(

  • BETTER THAN 6th SENSE!!!

  • MAN ON FIRE OST!

  • Elijah versus Zeus = Jesus. Ying Yang....

  • One of his best three movies in his filmography... After Signs, things started to go down... REALLY BAD.

  • One of the most amazing movies ever. Truly inspirational and incredibly underrated!!

  • Truly brilliant film! this is a poor trailer though! the other trailer is better!

  • "I bet my dad could beat up your dad."

    Yeah...right. XP

  • UM.... according to Final Destination 1,2,3,4,5... ONE CANNOT CHEAT DEATH.

  • were watching this at school

  • Amazing movie!! Makes me want to read comic books!!

  • I think the twist at the end is M.night's best twist in one of his movies

  • the movie i loved. the extended parts were cool... the weight scene cmon! hella fun! but in general i loved seeing him in the SECURITY parka thingy he wore... the movie was special and neat to me . i still love it. hugs

  • 10 years ago "Now on DVD and Video'

Present Time "Now On Blu-Ray and DVD"

    ^^ damn technology has evolved!

  • You know what's funny? These days, you get stuff like Kick Ass, The Dark Knight, and Watchmen (the movie, not the comic) that claims to be superheroes in the real world. But it's all done in such a stylized, over-the-top action movie way, you can't believe it despite the characters having no powers. And then Unbreakable comes along ten years earlier, and it's about a superhero with powers, yet it feels real because it's done in such a low-key, down-to-earth way.

  • @Ashloomis

    Agree 100%.

This movie is excellent and many did not understand it when it came out. But when dvd was released, the sales grew and grew cos people realised what a masterpiece it was.

My friends and i love this movie and still think m night is a genius. I loved DEVIL too.

  • @Ashloomis But, I think they're all awesome. The genre needs variety just like any other.

  • @dalejrfan800 Oh, I like them too (except Watchmen, I do like the comic book it was based on through.) I just think it's funny how the most realistic "superheroes in the real world" movie is the one where the superhero has powers.

  • @Ashloomis

I know right? They're brilliant movies no doubt but Unbreakable was more than brilliant. It was phenomenal. And that's the reason why. It's so low key and down to earth and it fells.......real.

  • @Ashloomis Warchmen Claims to be superheroes in the real world? Cmon mate, do not compare Watchmen to this movie. They are both great in their way.

  • @Ashloomis I know yout were expecting this reply. im with you on kick ass and watchmen but man The Dark Knight was not much action packed too. it was also realistic like unbreakable and it also had true meanings of being a hero in an epic way. anyway no offence to you. i replied coz i'm inspired greatly by both Chris Nolan and M.N.Shyamlan(who's from my country actually). i cant tolerate the critism of any of them.

  • Saw this month back 10 years ago during the month of Dec/Holiday week.A different type of "Super Hero" movie with a mystery "Alfred Hitchcock" suspense.

  • does shyamalan use the same actors in a bunch of his movies... i mean phoenix, willis, and bryce dallas howard are all in multiple mns movies

  • its an awesome movie!!

the fact that they seem to remain human through all if this..

the fact that willis and samual play awesome roles..

but the most important the thing the awesome ending plot makes this movie

a great one!! i really enjoyed it!!

  • i bet my dad can beat up your dad! Hilarious!

  • You know that's funny because both Bruce willis and Samuel L. Jackson were both partnered up in Die Hard With A Vengeance and in this film as well.

  • my favourite M.Night film.

  • I had my first date ever with the first girl I ever kissed on the opening night of this movie haha, still remember it, November 22, 2000. Ah, childhood. Truly excellent movie, and I wish Shyamalan would do an Unbreakable 2, as has been rumored (and he stated he wanted to work on a second one).

  • @sonbuhitsunei lmfaao, that's cute ;)

  • @sonbuhitsunei well good news unbrakable 2 got green light but it is going to be a completely different film...

  • @sonbuhitsunei mabye she'll let you put it in her arse this time.

  • @sonbuhitsunei

Childhood? how old were you then? lol.

  • @sonbuhitsunei no. he would completely ruin his last marginally good movie.

  • this is the best super heroes movies of ever ...

because it talk about the spiritual and familiar side of the hero and the fight inside him....

not shit like spider man and hulk ....

  • Elijah is biblical person too. He was prophet (first book of kings - 19). And Elijah, like Jesus and Saint Mary, was taken to the heaven with his body (second book of kings - 2).

  • Sam's name here was Elijah. Correct me if Im wrong but I think that was a name the Muslims used to call their children with back in the 1960s. So was Elijah a Muslim ?

  • Does his religion really matter? It's not relevant to the story in any meaningful sense.

  • @Deadmansparty2002 Religion is always relevant.

  • @23DBS Religion is often important, but in the context of this film it doesn't enter into the relevancy of the trailer, or the film as a whole. Elijah is only a name, where it comes from or who uses it in what type of families serves no useful purpose.

  • @Deadmansparty2002 No, I know, but often the whole idea of hero vs. villain (whether it's represented as comic book characters or not) links with religious iconography. I'm not religious, and Unbreakable is a fantastic film - I just find this type of thing fascinating aha.

  • @23DBS I don't consider myself religious either, and I would agree that it is often the case that hero vs. villain can have religious iconography. But I think that in this case it is not strictly necessary to the story and I don't think M Night Shamalan was looking to religious imagery to tell the story. Of course, I don't know that for sure. Also, specific to Elijah, I believe the name was used by Christians long before Muslims did, thus such a link is not a reasonable assumption.

  • @Deadmansparty2002 No, I agree with you there, but I suppose you might be able to link the light vs. dark/good vs. evil mythology into it somehow. But yeah, that's fair enough.
