Okay, since nobody can explain it correctly....

1- Wait for bobber to go down

2- While its going down, put the wii remote very to the vertical

- If no fish was caught, then its cuz you moved your remote too late or too soon

3- After the message "Fish is On" just hold up the wii remote till you catch the fish.
