  • Gene was Zorro's faithful sidekick Butler Bernardo On The Disney TV Show

  • oh my, a troll. how original. anyway, since this is a video about gene sheldon, let's stick to that and veer away from personal jibes that have nothing to do with him. :0)

  • I just love him!

  • I adore Gene Sheldon.

  • He is a great pantomime comic !!

It's doesn't fair to be knew only by his play of Bernardo but the ones who watched it can't forgot him !!

  • gene sheldon was genius. and he was from columbus :) just complete proof of how awesome we are here

  • Gene was awesome. But as far as your ohio comments goes we all cant pick our birthplace so i aint holding that against him. just shows how smart and good he was he got better and LEFT

  • Funny, I would never have associated immaturity and ignorance with Gene Sheldon...I think now I can. Sad.

  • lmao !!!

  • @Waltsgrl Funny, an immature ignorant talking about immaturity and ignorance. Sad indeed. I have the feeling you also would have something to say about prostitution, would you not?

  • @mcmlxvi ?????? do you have anything better to do with your time, frenchie?

  • This looks like the Tommy/Jimmy Dorsey Stage show which also was the first to show Elvis Presley on TV. Ahh - live TV! Funny how Tommy introduces him as "Gene Nelson".

  • You are correct.

I have a 16mm kinescope of the entire show sans commercials.

  • Glad to see these little moments of cultural "history" posted. It would be a shame if they were locked away and lost. Keep up the good work.

  • thank you so much for posting... i love all the wonderful vaudeville acts.... it was always so entertaining to watch those kinds of shows as a child :)

  • That was fun!

  • He also played the "mean clown" in the Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis film "3 Ring Circus". And it was very against type...he was the sweetest , nicest clown of all. And a master on the banjo. He was vaudeville at it's finest!

  • aaah yes the old art of vaudeville!
