The Backpacker Oven uses any standard Backpacking Stove with a seperate fuel canister. Canister must not be Directly connected to the Burner. The Stove I use is either the MSR Whisperlite or the MSR Simmerlite. Both are lite weight only about 10oz. These 2 stoves use White Gas.
I just used methanol penny alky burner made from an 8 oz. pop can.
So 22 minutes didn't mater for fuel use.

Hey! I love my backpacker oven. I see you have made a few improvements over this one shown.
Baked goods turn out better if I hold it at 400 degrees.
I've made awesome Pizza, corn bread, cheese biscuits, blue berry & strawberry muffins.
400 degrees for 22 minutes. Perfect.
Hey, add your favorite jam to the dough around the outside rim of your muffin. Killer!
