hey there marty! I've learnt a lot of songs watching your videos but, in this one, I have a question: just after the first chorus, in the "uuuu uuu uuu uuu uuuuuuuu.." part, and then when the say "they don't know how long it takes, waiting for a love like this, everytime we say goodbye I wish we had one more kiss I'll wait for you I promise you, I wiiiiill" what chords do I play? I can't engage the chords on the video with that part :S

@javivifish Jason plays a pretty interesting chord for that bit, it starts with 053560, but your pinky on the B will actually alternate between 6th and 5th. After 4 counts of that it switches to 5x055x for four, then a G on the third fret (355433) for four, and back to the first chord for 4 more counts before repeating. I think Marty does it a bit different, sorry, but that's how Jason Mraz hits it. If you don't want to bother with the bars, Dm7(000211),Am,G,Dm7 works fine enough.

I think the best way to get the muted sound is to lift your left hand fingers. This does let the open strings ring, but it seems to create the right effect anyway.

I believe this is what Marty is doing, as well as a few other people on youtube videos I watched. If you want to make sure all the strings get muted, play barred versions of the chords.

How I'm doing the strumming is that I'm kind of letting the side of my hand rest lightly on the strings, putting no real pressure but just kind of having your hand there on the strings helps create the sound for the begining part. At least its good enough for me, try it and see.

@rylo115 I don't stop it, I just let my hand on the chords, like right on the bridge of the guitar, so it stops the sound a bit. Anyways, that's how I do it :P
