I used to live in Maine where Dave is from. I have seen him several times once at the unversity of Maine at Orono. I just love his earthy take on life. Much of what he writes are word paintings. There is one song he does about the family Barn Burning down after being struck by lightening.....it puts you right there as its burning down. Fire Fire Fire in the Barn Father..... Fire in the Chicken house Too
