  • I’m a biologist, so what you say (« sometimes bats can seem almost human ») is nothing surprising to me.. and i’ill explain why (in my awkward English) –> It’s not that bats seem human, it’s that they seem *monkey-like*; and that’s because they actually are *very closely related*, evolutionarily, to monkeys.

BATS belong to a “clade” of mammals whose progenitors evolved for life on trees. The present descendents of those progenitors are: bats, dermoptera, lemurs, and monkey.

  • Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaky.

  • I was actually wondering if bats could actually walk one day. This video solved that for me. :)

But it's not quite the full on two legged walking, I was just really bizzared by the fact if bats could actually walk because they spend most of their time flying and hanging.

Standing on two feet would be pretty epic though, that would be next level impressment.

  • Awesome vid of vampire bats. What zoo is this?

Talk!? One looks like he's trying to convince her to come back to his ledge for a visit.....

Go to batcon dot org to find out more about these AMAZING creatures.

  • At the Cincinnati, Ohio, zoo. They are really interesting.
