Daphne used to be sweet and kind and lovably quirky. Now that she's married to Niles she's a sour puss, mean, selfish and impatient (even in episodes where she is not pregnant).
Why do you think the writers changed her character this way? It's hard to see what Niles likes about her! I wonder if these writers just didn't understand how to develop a female character over time...

@rsoarch7 Not an editing error. The kegs are there because in the previous episode Niles accidentally ordered catering for a "Fraternity" instead of a "Maternity" party. So they delivered 3 kegs and a 6 foot sub. It's actually a really detailed continuity on the writers part. Another example of how well the series was created.

I love how Roz stuck up for Niles when he had this breakdown in Nervosa, it was a funny situation, but considering all their differences through the years, in that scene alone she proved that she does care for Niles, that their relationship isnt based purely on sarcastic banter... way to go Roz.. :)
I don't know about you guys, but seeing Niles strip naked was the least funny thing I've ever seen on this show. I've seen someone have a panic attack that severe and David Pierce acted it out perfectly.

Roz standing up for Niles in the coffee shop... for all their jabs at each other they're both decent people and actually friends, in their own way. So heartwarming it actually brought tears to my eyes!
@coffeecustard Yeah, it's something that really gets me whenever I watch this show, the way the relationships change over time, and I think Roz and Niles' change was the biggest and sweetest. They went from hating and having nothing but contempt for each other in season 1 to being almost like brother and sister in season 11, and so gradually and subtly too. Just like in real life, how two people can warm to each other without even meaning to.
oh daphne... she's just a little bit hormonal! Although she could have been nicer to her husband. But still... that amount of stress level couldn't have been good for her. And NILES!!! Wow... that's just hilarious.
I like the last scene during the credits. Cafe Nervosa is really like its own character. It's adorable how everyone handed him straws :)
