Smoke to Text in Adobe After Effects CS3 (tutorial)

hi, i wanna know how to fade in the smoke, cause the tutorial is fade out the smoke...

i'm still learning.. thanks for ur video , it's good...

and i can't see well on the video about the timeline.. the how long is the new compostion..about 30sec?

just use time remapping to revert animation.

I'm not sure that correctly understood the question. You can make any duration of the animation, for your taste. The duration of the composition in video is 200 frames at 25 fps, that means 8 seconds

by the way, this is far not the best way to simulate a smoke. In fact Particle Playground is legacy effect, it's veeeeery slow. One should use Particle Playground only if there is no way to use better partisle systems like CC Particle World (out of the box effect) or Trapcode Particular (powerful plugin, but it's not free)

It's very easy, just do text to smoke and then use time reverse to obtain smoke to text :)
