Really good show :) I guess there is a lot of different Cirque Du Soleil because I went to a competition for band and they had different song choices but oh well and hey, you guys sound really good for that size of a band lol, what is funny is that we have like 20 guard members and you guys had a lot fewer then that but the guard did amazing! keep up the good work :)

Personally, I think this was our best show..

we had the most people in this one...and our sound was actually somewhat balanced (compared to our others)

I miss it...lol Freshmen year, that is.~

This is my favorite show out of the three I have done so far. I hope that next years show will have the same effects on me that this one has. I loved this year. I remember always giving this show my everything and just how much I loved it. And I remember crying before, through and after this whole performance. I love how it still makes me shiver just listening to it and then watching it. Let's make this year the best guys!!! :]

the singing was done really well...this year my band's doing this show and instead of singing were going to have a tuba/baritone duet for the first 16 bars and then the low brass plays for the other 16 bars

hmm your pit's not really that big. im in the pit and i play the timpanis(which make it sound even awesomer) and u guys don't seem to have timpanis. there would've been a really awesome roll at 8:18 on the crescendo

i was always under the impression that people couldnt hear the triangle from the stands...

and the singing was really clear too, nice job with that

I'm pretty confident that all of our equiptment belonged to us. in 06, there was originally 30 people signed up for band, but when band camp cam around, the numbers went up to about 70~something, and then when registration cam around, the gaurd stood outside infront of the lines and performed and got more girls to join, bringing the numbers up to around 83-85, putting us into the 2A division. ^-^

The year, is 2006, and this show was our story. Like rising from ashes, we rose, together, from the ruins of director previous. Fallbrook was back, with a vengence. ( I wish the announcer dude would have said that! That would have been sweet! "Fallbrook Union High School is back with a vengence, performing yadeeyadeeya..." One can only dream, though. ^-^) And no, we don't throw candy. That's a good idea too. ^-^

It was really fun in that it was some of the best times of my life. We where very strict but at the same time we all had fun and enjoyed it at the same time. we had different uniforms (be glad you dont have them they where 5 layers thick three just in the jacket). I wish that i could find some of the videos (or pics)of the time i was there (94-95 or 95-96)and also do you guys still throw candy out during the awards ceramonys? hehehe

Red,black,gold and a little pipping of yellow but yes that is the uniform (shudder) but actually in 94 they didnt have a uniform that fit me so i was in the black suite in the pit but then in 95 they special ordered one just for me i wish that i was able to keep it ( oh well ) if someone can get a copy of the pictures of back then i would love a copy i live in Kansas now so im unable to go ask.
