I assisted a near-unconscious driver who rolled her car over on the highway. Gas was actually pouring out of the filler door. II told her "lady you need to get out of this car" in a clam voice, without telling her why. I asked a bystander to give me a hand. I looked over my shoulder as I pulled her out to see where he went, I saw him pick up her laptop that was laying in the road and walk over to his car and take off. So when I see this I immediately think he was some opportunist scumbag.
Yes, he survived. His name is Bill Elvin. His brother Brian, Brian's wife Linda, & his dad Chuck also had their legs severed. His mother, Cherie, died.
@gxr420 UNTIL there is a incident scene. Same in law enforcement, if a cop is dealing with a head on collision with fatalities, and someone impedes his duties like the man in the video did with security/ems/responders , he does have the right to remove that individual from the scene even if it is by force.
@newm123 I disagree. People were welcome to film all day. Only when there is an incident do the rules seemingly change. However a TV crew would have carried on filming so why not an individual.
What kind of moronic thinking process excuses those people who are prohibiting other people to film anything in this world ? Huh? - "JUST IN FRICKING CASE"?
yeah why have all these annoying rights?? He was exercising his and was beaten. I would and rightfully so have sued them for assault. They have no right as private citizens to keep him from filming.
@naughtygirl3797 You are an idiot. You have no idea what he was doing. It would appear he was looking for a loved one and found them and was leaving when the fascist Barney Fife security shoved him. Glad I don't know or hang out with violence-defending morons like you.
The only thing i know is Security people don't have education and qualification! That's why they get paid $8-10/Hr or in some cases little more. Communication issues is also what they have.
Does anyone know if the poor guy with his leg taken off at the thigh survived? I was there from England in 2002 and Tommy Rose went in straight in front of us, a terrible day... It's a dangerous game! RIP to all who died.
@19thSFGA if you'd known the guy you would've seen he was more than in adequate health to fly the airplane. if it had happened to one of the younger guys (which it could've considering something went wrong with the plane, not the pilot) what would be your response then?
@vendetta81 Whats your point then age wouldnt be an issue would it then .Maybe you need to take some debate classes to learn how to get your pint across !This guy was to old period and this is what caused the accident he was unable to respond to the emergency he was faced with as pilot in command. You really believe there is no difference between an 80 year old man and a 25 year old ?This guy and a whole bunch more need there medicals pulled just because of age.
@19thSFGA my point is that going from 4 g's (average g pulled during a gold unlimited race at 480 mph) to 22.5 g's ( the g load confirmed by onboard telemetry) instantaneously would knock anyone out regardless of their age or physical fitness.
he had his fair share of emergencies in p-51's, as recent as a month before the incident, and had never failed to rise to the occassion.
instead of suggesting things that don't concern you and know nothing about try learning something about it.
The man was going up to the scene of multiple people's death and wasn't listening to the security when they told him to stay away. He was being disrespectful and insubordinate.
Wow why all this horrible things are happeining to the white people? This... Then the masacre in seal beach... Dont be racists and be polite.. god forgives but doesnt forget.
@midgetwidget He sort of sucker punched the Security Man at 0:50, and tried to walk away fast, then the man went for him. Well done. What an SOB guy. Was he a GA pilot? Most men at that event are also pilots. Freaking Arrogant Attitude like that are the causes of most GA accidents anyway. They get pissed off if they are told to follow rules of conduct. I have been Security in Air Shows. Some pilots there think they owe the airport and no rules there don't apply to them just to Airline PIlots
He wasn't beaten, you're just tryin to stir shit up. He was tackled after he returned and forcibly shouldered the security guard while towing his girlfriend thru the crowd. Mess with the bull, you get the horn
from about 50: + there is a man laying on the ground just to the left of the box in the video where it says "shove" where his right leg is completely gone.... wait a few seconds longer and it shows it better, vary disturbing.
Nice way to add more injured ppl to the equation!! Idiot in the red needs to get sum kind of punishment!! Obviously the man was jus lookin for his family!
Thank for some good footage. The security guy should of found something better to do than attack what he probably thought was someone who didn't belong in that area. Now then the security guy may have been freeked out by the plane crash and just went off in either case he should get some help and find a new job .
Ya what is up with that shit looks like he finds some one and is either looking for or wants to go find someone else to me then the guys grab him... Would love to here the story on that.
DUDE! seriously?
