The lyrics are nice, the song is beautiful, the voice is good, but, I would like to hear the notes as they were meant to be sung... why don't you make a version where you sing the song without changing the notes? Hear Carrie Underwood singing the national anthem (without changing the notes) and compare with all the others who sing the national anthem, where they change the notes. I prefer the Carrie Underwood version to all others so far. But you have a nice voice and the song is beautiful.

First, let me commend you for going above and beyond your own statement of 'attempting'. You have a great voice and hit every note. You do have a low voice...I was playing the organ as you were singing, (I love this song) and your key was D flat/C sharp. My only concern is your tempo, it was two fast or maybe not enough pauses. At any rate this song speaks to the heart and if you work the words with some growl hums, WOW. You sing, God will do the rest. Still it was good!
