Wow, Keanu Reeves is the perfect person to play Spike. The photo-shopping job sucked but Keanu's and Spikes facial features, height, and voice square up. A better Jet could be found, for Faye...maybe add marion cotillard, and ed...some crazy kid will work.

Honestly, if Bebop were to ever become a movie it would be made to fit in a present time storyline just like other adaptions i.e. Smurfs, Alvin & Chip and Dragonball. Nobody will bankroll an anime movie exactly akin to the anime.

@Midironica ....because animes by nature have fantastical stories, settings and characters that are usually only attractive to certain audiences and so are expensive to produce and probably won't offer up a big return in investment. It would be a huge gamble but if someone advertised enough and tweaked the story to suit American audiences, then a Bebop movie could exist. But would you want to watch a movie like that? I will stick to the actual show.

Personally, I'm fine with the casting of Keanu Reevesas Spike, I just hope he can do a close approximation of Steven Blum's voice acting. Your picks for the other characters are ok, your digital modification really sold be on Bruce and Ed, but I'm not really feeling Christina Ricci as Faye. I doubt they movie will have such a star-studded cast though, probably paying too much for Keanu as it is.

Can't wait until the movie is released. They need to get production started ASAP.

In cartoon form Ed is an awesome character, but its just not possible to translate that type of character into live action. I expect faggotry at worst and douchebaggery at minimum.
