  • Is it just me, or is PYL long-overdue for a Nostalgia Critic review?

  • @JimmySand9 LONG over-due.

  • It was the final season of PYL. From the time Johnny Olsen died in 1985, sub announcers were on TPIR until Rod was selected as the permanent replacement. PYL was taped next door to TPIR though I'm sure they didn't tape on the ame days.

  • I thought that Rod Roddy was announcing on TPIR in 86. I wonder if this was the final season of PYL.

  • He was announcing TPIR in 1986 because I had episodes from that year taped, I think he started doing so after Johnny Olson's death after several announcers subbed.

  • @animegal2686 The show did end in 86, so yes, this was the final season. the ratings dipped soon after Michael Larson broke PYL's bank with over $110,000. and yes, Rod Roddy was announcing TPIR in 86. I

  • I wish that people would put the end credits on these PYL vids. it's one of the only times i can hear the voice of the late, great Rod Roddy.

  • Nope, I have this episode as well, and the prize plugs are intact. It may have to do with the last question in the first round.....
