I prefer the sparrows, cardinals, robins, blue jays, woodpeckers, occasional Great Horned Owls, and Cooper's Hawks. Got some Geese and Cranes as well. Crows, ummm, nay to crows, sorry. :)

That cat was damned lucky, not to have sustained any beak blows, from that Crow. Pound for pound, Crows have some of the strongest beaks, of any avian species. Raven's even more so, there larger cousins. Regardless, miss kitty is just lucky, that it didn't get hit, as they can do some pretty serious damage. And without the need of talons either, like a Hawk or Eagle would typically use.

@TIgeracademy At Hamilton Island there are lots of crows, seagulls, and white cockatoos. The crows attack the cocky's and seagulls in the air to make them drop food but when they are on the ground it's a different story. I saw one cocky in the middle of a uncleared cafe table throwing cuttlery around like a phycotic chef while six crows were sitting on the backs of the chairs not wanting to take him on. The poor old seagulls stood well back from the flying cuttlery and didn't get a look in.

When my black NFC was a baby he would go out the window and play on the roof. Three crows were in a tree 10 feet from him one day pestering him. He was probably small enough to be prey, but he had attitude, so they didn't attack. This went on for a week or two. Crows usually roost in the same area year after year. When Moe was a year old, and about 14 lbs. he actually caught and pinned one of the buggers in the yard, but i separated them. Don't piss off a Norwegian Forest Cat who has a memory.

i befriended 23 crows one winter they come to my home for last 4 winters now and now one i named pretty boy pecks on my window to remind me to throw some bread out and bird seed for him and his clan, and in summer time i was on my deck, and pretty boy came right up to me as if to say hello, i thik their magnificent birds, i also have a cat, and he goes out when i noticed the crows are not around hahahaha, to many of them for one cat. lol.
