The effect is all wrong because the pictures are the WRONG WAY ROUND! If you click on pause you'll see that right eye photo is on left and vise versa. That's why everything in the background looks nearer than the foreground in 3d. How'd you manage to mess that up?

There is another way to do this. If you are not capable of training your eyes to focus at a point to which there is no physical object; then try this method:

1) Put your finger on or close to the middle of the two images.

2) Focus your eyes onto said finger.

3) Now bring you finger to an equal distance between you and the images.

4) Move your finger out the while still focused on the point where your finger was.

the reason we see the world in 3d is because our eyes each give us slightly different angles of view and the images are then sent to the brain where they are automatically put together so you can see objects with depth and so now the two pictures have slight different angles of view and you cross your eyes to imitate what is done in your brain to fool it to see 3d,its simpler than it looks though

@TheDarkman21 Nope :P If you thought that crossing your eyes too much will turn your eyes crossed permanently, well that's just a myth. You can cross your eyes as long as you can keep yourself up as crossing the eye for too long will give you a headache.. or make your eyes kinda feel uncomfortable. But it doesn't really damage your eyes :) Try it :D
