Hey, don't anyone dare waist their time with this movie, read the comic if you even want to have an idea to the idea behind the story. The movie is a butcher to the story, it kills the charactors and rapes the concepts. Movie was three hours yet this still cut enough to make me wanna walk out of the film. I thought that they could ahve at least explained the antagonist rather then turning him into the archetypal douchebag that we saw in the film

Try "The Dark Knight Returns" by Miller, my favourite comic and the best story of Batman, but is not as deep as Watchmen, in my opinion you can find something like Watchmen in some drama/fantasy anime, but Watchmen is unique.

This time...I don´t like so much comparing with the others that i had listen from you.

The music is very strong but not so dark...it´s more like a music to a thrilher with a lot of high notes...(too much for me). It´s a litle "caotic"...this means that doesn´t have a clear melody...the piano gives the rythm but fails to give me the melody.

It´s my sincere opinion...but it´s a good work.

Yea could be, i could see that the composition could be moved into alot of different directions with multiple different elements added to it.

This was composed roughly about 3 years ago now, and it was only when i was getting more or less comfortable with scoring more or less orchestral works. But now i notice that there isnt much brass included in the composition and not a strong melody development and just those little things.

Now this is interesting. As I listen to your music, the scene that comes to mind is the origin of Dr. Manhattan - as the the string melody crescendos and becomes more frantic, I see Jon trapped in the testing chamber, and being ripped to molecules at the 1:30 climax. A somber 'death' moment lingers on the piano, followed by the renewed string theme as he attempts to reconstruct himself. Finally, at 2:25, there is success!

Personally i think up to 1:30 i could see it in a part where Nightowl II flies over the city with Silk Spectre over the city and roam around as they find a burning bulding get everyone out and just that whole chapter as it ends. I wont give away any spoilers but i think there the mood of the music and the intensity could just match up.

Now to answer your question. The orchestration was fully designed on the computer. This was not recorded by any orchestra, i wouldnt even be able to afford that.

The software used is FL Studio 5. :)

This particular track was orchestrated with soundfonts mostly, however there are many other different plugins that you can choose from.

MOTU Symphonic comes to mind, its a bit pricey but will give you all the instruments possible.
