  • Im thinking in buy this camera but i want know , what the bitrate of full hd movie that cam makes?

  • Sometimes I get pretty grainy footage in low light places. Sometimes even during the day time.. any remedies?

  • groooovy

  • Well now I don't know if I should go pick up my camera or my guitar.

  • anyone tab this?

  • I want to ask you something. How can i convert the video format from the t2i(quick time player MOV.) to an usual format for youtube or facebook. I've tried with sony vegas but when i put in the program a file like MOV. it appears to read only the sound and there is no picture. Thank you in advance :) (this doesnt happen with other formats, only with MOV.)

  • @Rasenshurikenuzumaki Google any converting site. It'll automatically convert your .MOV file to AVI, MP4 or WMV

  • @DoJoStan I tried but all sites only allow files which are up to 100mb to be converted and mine are a LOT bigger ;D

  • what's that song at 2:15? :o

  • Can you manually adjust the exposure/ aperture/ f-stop? Please do let me know ASAP :)

  • @itoeyeproduction - Yes you can adjust all exposure settings. ISO 100-6400, shutter and aperature.

It can be done prior to hitting record or while recording.

  • @marko71000 Yay! Thanks for letting me know.

  • @itoeyeproduction Yes, but be sure you've got video capture on Manual not Auto mode.

  • WHOA!! LOOKS AMAZING!!! any color correction used?

  • Was the audio we here recorded with the camera? If so was an external mic used?

  • @peytonq1 Audio is mic'd in via a Shure FM57 Dynamic Microphone connected to a Creative Emu unit, which is connected to the camera's mic port.

  • Gibson or Martin or Taylor Guitar?

  • Very Cool! :D

  • Comment removed

  • No No it is not auto fucus

  • Would it be better to buy a camera like this or hunt for a camcorder with manual focus capabilites (a task proving difficult)?

  • pretty sweet

  • @MissAkaPolly "do you know if it will focus if you put it on a tripod, because i know u said the focus is based on the lens, i wanna get this camera but i want it to be able to focus if i put something up close to the screen without having to focus it myself" How many times did you have to say focus. Take a class at your local community college.

  • @MissAkaPolly Please dont get the camera, you seem to know nothing about it

  • lol i like how it says 1080p but the video only allows you to watch it in 720p

  • @janvercastroo - Thank youtube for that. I should update the description. After uploading 3 1080p files, rendered in 1080p in Pinnacle Vegas, Home Studio and Adobe Premier I realized it was youtubes conversion that was causing the frame skips etc, so i uploaded a 720p version and it plays almost as well as the 1080p does on my PC or in AVCHD on the PS3.

  • PARABÉNS PELO VÍDEO

PEÇO QUE ASSISTA AO CURTA-METRAGEM FEITO COM UMA T2i

    youtube.com/watch?v=Qu0ypBf9C6Q

    valeu!

  • i like the song. can you please mention its name? by the way did you use an external mic for recording or is it the built-in mic of the cam?

  • song? ps NICE!!

  • song?

  • what kind of sd card you are using on your canon rebel t2i/550d when filming? bec i got a pny 32gb class 10 on my t2i and the video i took is bad, any advise? well ill just wait for your reply

  • @mosquitoebites hey I bought 16 Gb Raw steel SDHC 10 class card. very good for videos. Pretty fast. enough for good quality 5 mins video in 1080p.

  • what kind of sd card you are using on your canon rebel t2i/550d when filming? bec i got a pny 32gb class 10 on my t2i and the video i took is bad, any advise? well ill just wait for your reply, and again thank you!!!

  • What is the best video editing software to use? I am thinking that buying an imac is the best choice, rather than window/PC software? thank you

  • Great shot, i really want this camera. Ill get it ASAP hopefully.

  • @MissAkaPolly Nikon's cameras have this feature, but the auto-adjust they have on those are slow, too slow to be practical for any fast movements.

  • @MissAkaPolly NP =]

  • @MissAkaPolly buy the Nikon D7000 with continues Auto-Focus..

  • What lens did you use?

  • What version of pinnacle do you have?

  • @MissAkaPolly - also if you are using a consumer zoom lens and it is pointing downwards, you will have to adjust constantly, both the zoom and focus as the cheaper lenses experience what is known as zoom creep. This is caused by the lens sliding to a higher zoom due to gravity.

  • @MissAkaPolly - The camera will not focus, with any lens unless you manually focus or press the autofocus button. If you put it on a tripod and focus it on a still object it will remain in focus as long as the tripod and the object or person don't move. If you have it close to the camera, you will need a macro capable lens, and the aperature will need to be at f8 or lower (f11,f16) to have the entire object in focus. If the object moves slowly you will have to use the manual focus to adjust

  • Lepo odsvirano :D

  • i like your playing style and good cam too

  • whoa man you need to chill out, i was only commenting on the fact this video is 720 when it says in the title 1080p, i know you mention in your description why but i hadnt bothered to read that.

I really hope you diddn't think i was being serious when i said false advertising, no reason to delete post

  • is this the canon 550d sorry im new to this

  • @vyawie yes the 550D is aka T2i

  • Nice video, you should record your music for download.

  • very cool video...i have that guitar :)

  • Could you please explain the use of the Creative Emu unit in between mic and camera? Thanks

  • nice guitar playing!

  • How do you get the focus area move? I have been trying to figure that out when I'm recording something lol Couldn't figure it out. If I press the button half way it would go out focus and focus again? How do I do the exact your doing?

  • @bbdqsony - Manual focus.

  • @marko71000 Ahh thanks Will do that, my most fear is what if my sight is NOT really in focus lol.

  • @bbdqsony

choose a wide open aperture to let in lots of light, it will allow you to more easily see your depth of focus.

Then try zooming out as far as it goes, AND choose a wide aperture- that will surely give the desired effect. A small aperture will give a longer area that is in focus. Its basic lens physics and its easy to learn.

  • Hey mate - great video really! :) This is one of the reasons, why i judge myself for getting the Nikon D90 instead of this camera :(

By the way - is there any chance i could get the tab for the first song, the guitarist played? :)

  • Hi, i´m from Brazil, please help me,rs

i want to buy the kodak z981, she film like this canon t2i?

The video is good than canon t21?

    Please help meeeee.

    |Thank´s!

  • You're really good. I'm wonderig if you anyone could help me about my questions. Which lenses are good for t2i on:

    1. Best quality macro shots.

    2. Best quality close up videos.

    3. Best quality close up photos.

the lens should be cheap but still promising on doing those things. Please tell me all your opinion. It would be a really BIG help for me. Thanks! ^.^

  • @MediumHotChocolate any canon lenses work with this they are all interchangable with all canon cameras, but it would depend on your price range, macro lenses are really expensive but it depends how close you wanna get and any lense is good for close up video and photos if it is like an 18 - 55mm lense, that's plenty close enough because they focus in pretty close, but then again it depends how close you wanna get, but i would say to just browse around on the canon website for what you want

  • Awesome camera. A LOT of camera for the money. Too bad it only shoots in H.264 and has no audio control. Still amazing!

  • NIce!

  • does it do auto focus? I asked because the focus area moves...

  • @OneFoolShow Nope no auto focus.

  • @OneFoolShow - it has autofocus, but is dependant on lens. That was me moving focus between the strumming and chord hands. Only manual focus used.

  • You say the audio was run thru a 'Creative Emu'-- so you had your computer on the set??

Thanks for clarification, and the nice video.

  • @jericsynergy

No computer was on the set. The Creative Emu has an analog 1/8 or 1/4 plug (direct out) on the back and doesn't need to be hooked up to a computer at all, just needs a power source.

  • @marko71000 - thanks for your reply.

When I google "creative emu", all i get is hits for a Creative sound card/midi interface, no recorder that I can see. <|^(

  • @jericsynergy Thats correct. The exact version used was the Emu 0404 which can be used as an interface, but will also work when not connected to a computer as it has analog outs and direct monitoring. Headphones in the front, analog outs on the back.

  • Is this really the sound of the 550D, or do you add a special microphone for a best sound ???

  • @MattSingerPhotographAudio is mic'd in via a Shure FM57 Dynamic Microphone connected to a Creative Emu unit, which is connected to the camera's mic port.

  • what kind of sd card do you use to film your videos?

  • Jammmmin, i applaud this bro

  • I believe this is not the built in microphone used here.

  • i want that guitar just a lil bit more than the camera

  • ace

  • this is boring

  • @curtismichael14 So why do you waste even more of your time posting a pointless comment?

  • @Quentin77170 lol,its a joke,i think hes very good at guitar and,the camera has magnificent quality... :)

  • is the 70-300mm necessary or should i stay with the 18-55mm that the camera already comes with when purchased?

  • @MsJas666 not necessary to buy this lens. It will give a different perspective and amount of zoom but if you are going to be recording things like on your channel, then not necessary at all. To capture the entire guitar player and guitar with the lens I used I would have had to be 15-30 feet away.

  • @marko71000

yeah thats right only if you want to have a video with lots of dept of field which gives the cinematic look you can look for a lens with a really big appeture...lik f 2.0 or so..:)

  • I've been looking at videos from this camera and they're amazing. I also like your guitar playing I always wanted to learn how to play.

  • I want one of those!!

  • Was this shot with the built in microphone?

  • great video, thanks

  • Beautiful

  • that have very good sound :) and great quality and focus :) I like it :]

  • is it really that good of a camera? i have heard that canon really isnt that good, but i dont know. i seem convinsed that this is a good camera after watching all these movies...

  • deyyum that's some great quality.

  • Splendid. Is the sound from the built-in sound system, or did you connect an external mike?

  • Great image quality, and surprisingly good audio quality too, if this was recorded with the built in camera mic?

I have one question, though: Can the T21 (550D) autofocus while shooting video?

I mean, can it trace a moving object and keep autofocusing while shooting video?

  • @larspallesen i just read somewhere (non-english site) that you actually can autofocus with the 550D.

  • @petterhny eya you can but it takes a long while, so while shooting video you should always have a steady focus point or someone that is a bit exercised in manual focussing to adjust it while ur moving around in ur shot

  • @petterhny you can autofocus with 550D by setting the lens to auto and pressing the shutter halfway. I dont do this because the microphone will pick up the focusing motor on the lens. If your not going to use the audio on board, then you can autofocus all you want.

  • @larspallesen it can autofocus but it takes a LOT of time, you should always use manual focus cus autofocus sucks on it, i mean after all, its an slr not a camcorder

  • @larspallesen it will make too much noise from the lens motor focusing. You're better off practicing with manual focus. I also use the zacuto z-finder to help focusing on moving subjects, while increasing stability. You can check out my setup on my profile.

  • was this shot using the built-in mic or you have an external mic?

  • Woah! Digging the jams! Is the first part of the video a song? Is that off the top of his head? Same with the ending of the video? Tabs for all parts of the video any where?

And most def diggin the EOS 550D Can't wait till i get my hands on one! 5 stars!

  • Very nice quality. I'm sure the camera is on a tripod or table, but is someone behind it adjusting the focus? Could you please post a similar video but at 30fps and another at 60fps to see the difference in quality?

  • Yup, i'm behind the camera switching the focus between the hands. For the other 2 examples there is going to be a bit of a wait, guitarist is away.

  • Oh! I thought it was you recording yourself playing guitar, but I got it now. Silly me. I look forward to seeing more recordings.

  • wicked sick

  • Lens?

  • Sigma APO 70-300mm. This was shot at around 200mm on manual focus.
