I come out of a christian upbringing, but since they day I was able to think for myself, I realized this whole God thing is a load of crap. I say keep religion out of schools, psychiatric hospitals & keep it as far away from young children as possible. Do it for the mankind. Religion can be replaced. Our numbers are growing and in some European countries non-believers are as much as 80% of the population.

Perhaps religion will never die, but we can definitely make it a minority. And we will.

You know, this so called "god" is supposed to LOVE US EQUALLY. If that's true then why in Leviticus 18:22 does it say that "HOMOSEXUALITY IS AN ABOMINATION"? The Bible says that gay people are a disgrace. Why? Your sexuality is the same choice as the color of your skin. You don't really get a choice, it's just who you are. Like homosexuals would CHOOSE to be discriminated from society and hated by their peers. And thus the story of "god" begins to fill with holes like it's swiss cheese.

Leviticus 18:22 does not say that "homosexuality" is an abomination. The authors lived in an era when there were male temple prostitutes and in which soldiers raped each other on the battlefield as a form of humiliation. They were outnumbered by some other civilizations and concerned with reproduction. They may not have even heard of homosexuality in which members of the same sex form long-term relationships with each other in the way opposite-sex couples do.
