we are running croww 606 amps for our mains and on back of the beringer detection unit there is a sub woofer out put this is a xlr out put that goes into out 1000 watt butt kicker amp the amp has its own out put which is just a quarter inch that runnes out to our subs.the subs have there own amp as do our front cabnets each having there own crown 606
a passive crossover wouldn't handle the power normally.
although you can get some 600w rms passive xovers like from Eminence and Beyma. but the amount of heat it would generate would be pointless and they sound much better crossed of active(electronically anyway).
Reminds me of myself shaking and blowing the window glass caulking out of my windows when growing up in my room with my own Jah Shaka sound system; Speaker Kays with a Akai power source and a Technics turntable Grado cartridge stylus combo

i doubt it pal theres probably a cross over before the amp instead, the bass cabinets will have a sepperate amp. on

very aggressive bass on this, almost as bad as the king earthquake tune that I fried my 10 inch subwoofer up with a few days ago :(
think I'm gonna get a better subwoofer(like Adam professional audio) or 2 15 inch PD1550 loaded scoop bins.

definatly is one of the PD drivers as I recognise that shape frame.
