  • This place is overcrowded anyway...

  • But, I love bitches.

  • maybe we should start having arranged marriages. i may do that for my children, when i have them

  • This was really a decent film, unfortunately it was bad to see that all this talent and money in filmmaking went to an agenda that is just as dysfunctional as the black church digressed into. Relationships within the black american culture deserve better education and information. That religious dogma that directly gave out misleading, false, and biased information in the film is a disgrace and the MAIN reason black women are still playing the victim surrounding being single.

  • Do you want to get married?

1.-Stop bragging about much you earn and how many diplomas you have. That will not get you a good man.

2.-Expand your options and try dating outside our race (that I did and I'm happily married now)

3.-Be sweet. Men hate arrogant women.

    4.-Smile. Bitterness is a repellent.

5.-Learn how to cook. No, it does not diminish our value as a person nor turns you into a doormat.

    6.-Get over beauty complexes.

    7.-Keep a healthy weight.

  • @iguanitaquetu I forgot to add #8.-Stop comparing yourself to women from other races and stop blaming them when they marry a black man.

  • as an african american 25 year old male, in college, i can say . .. this is just some sad times , sad to see this gender war mess going on btwn men and women and blk men and blk women especially, it sadens me that couples cant get along becuase of standards and materialistic expectaions, my mom was a lawyer and my dad was a AC and heating refrigeration, my mom bought home all the bacon, how did they manage to still be together and raise 7 kids? till this day you just dont find women like my mom.

  • chics no longer get with men cus they see good in him or cus he got a job, he needs a degree, he needs $, he needs cars, he needs house, as blk men we already get looked down upon in usa already but now a days many blk women look down on us too this is why most men i know pack and leave the country. by the time usa women realize this, they will be to old to do anything about it, i really hope things get better btwn man and woman in usa but i dont think it will happen while im here on earth. . .

  • How does if feel to reap that which you sow, bitches?

  • My mom recommended i watch this... Hmm. Okayeee already...

  • Too funny...

  • man these comments are FUNNY. I am sick of hearing this over an over. Women know why they are single. Some of my counterpart need to stop frontn

  • There are successful black women who are married. And successful black men who are married. Perhaps we should look at Barack and Michelle as examples of how to be successful. I think the key is being unselfish and smart.

  • I see....

  • I am amused by the angry black men BW bashing types who have seen fit to grace this post with their..."wisdom".

I see in looking at an earlier post that one of your angry black brothers decided to make his point by shooting one of these, "trifling, ankle, slut bitch hoes" that your lot love to screech about so much.

Of course the young woman was none of these things, as none of these women is any of those things. But your blind hate paints any BW with these labels.

    Rather than...

  • ... focusing your hate on black women why not simply move on. Many of you say that you have, threaten to do so. Why not simply go. Perhaps you are right, perhaps most black women are indeed trifling whorish bitches that deserve the sorrow of the world placed squarely on their backs. Fine. Then leave them to it. Don't bother to spit poison at them anymore.

And God help the unfortunate little girl that finds herself your daughter in the face of your hate.

  • As if you can provide unbiased insight..... lol, American women are.... Crazy. Not all, just A LOT!!!!

  • Well, let's keep it real. Unfortunately, a lot of these women don't know what being a real woman is about. I will use the example of my own mother. (a real black woman) She is now in her 60's raised two children with assistance from another real black woman (Grandma-RIP) rose up from welfare, achieved a B.S. degree (Tuskegee) Master's (Howard) and A law Degree (Catholic U) Never once have I heard her link her self worth to any of this. Real women don't link their self-worth to extrinsic items!!

  • The sad truth of the matter is most black women have spent their 20's & early 30's chasing after the WRONG thype of black men. Then in their later 30's they FINALLY grow up & realize they need a 'good', decent man, insted of a man who fits a certain "sterotype". But by that time all those good black men have moved on to other races. This is a fact! its not opinion. Black women have made their bed, now they have to lie in it. Black women made their choses, now live with them. I have no sympothy.

  • oooooh so sad, were is the thug/gangsta with an S on his chest when these women really need them, hahahahahaha

    KARMA IS A

  • HAHAHAHA LOOK @ ALL THE BLACK FEMINISTS COMING HOW TO THEIR PETS IN THIS TIP TRAILER VID...THAT´S WHY SOME OF THEM HAVE STDs LIKE GONORRHEA BECAUSE THEY GET IT FROM THEIR PET THEY´VE BEEN HAVING BESTIAL SEX WITH.

STOP BURNING BRA´S..STOP COMPETING WITH MEN...AND HENCE WE CAN KEEP THE NUCLEAR FAMILY AIR-TIGHT AND RAISE OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS PROPERLY.

    CHAOOOO!

  • A coworker of mine is a real nice decent black guy who is married to a Phillipino woman. He was telling us how black women would give him flak for not marrying one of them. He told them flat out, "I'm a nice guy and a gentleman but you all never wanted to date me, or even talk to me, let alone marry me. So I said ok. Then I married someone who did. What do you expect?"

They have no one to blame but themselves. White women will be having the same problems in larger numbers very soon too.

  • Glad that this has a Christian values base. Many women are in pain and hurting (this topic handled without the Christian worldview just leads to too much ranting and blame/name calling). Women need to be open to marrying the male whom God sends for them: he might not be "black" (race is a social construct), Everyone (male and female), needs to give themselves totally to God/Christ- postmodernist and post-structuralist theorizing without the atonement breeds pain, confusion, torment and death.

  • @Truth0rDeath 't understand people who have issue about someone marrying someone out of they race, they love each other let them do what wrong with multiculture, i mean i just drive me crazy for real!!!

  • While sad that it has come to be this way... I can't sympathize with these women at all.

These women have probably met their soulmates and scared them away with their selfish, competitive, "empowered," personalities. Their femininity is canceled out by their masculine traits. Making them poor candidates for marriage to any man.

If they could change there might be hope but they don't even think they need to. Oh well then.

  • No sympathy. The were most likely waiting for a Dezel/50 cent hybrid and ended up waiting too long.

    Oh well...

  • Did Pearl Jr help this lame put this together. This seems like something she would make.

  • Notice one thing. The age range of the women in this video. Its not all black women. Its older BW crying.

  • Prior to the "appearance" of non-blacks, every Black woman married a Black man, her Soulmate.

Stay strong Beautiful Black Sistas, it won't be much longer before everything, returns to normal.

  • Oh I doubt that.

  • @Truth0rDeath,

    I know, right! LOL!!!!

  • That 45 year old VIRGIN women is a LIE LIE LIE LIE.

  • You don't know that!

  • Lest judgment should be based on wrong conclusion, distinguished right from vain and carnal pleading; The world is rife with error and confusion; Rely alone on God the spirit's leading.-*mollon

  • Lest judgment should be based on wrong conclusion, distinguish right from vain and carnal pleading; The world is rife with error and confusion; Rely alone on God the spirit's leading.-*mollon

  • me, me, me, pick me............you fly good black man. black men get too much flack. how beautiful the black male is, strong, fine and attractive. come let's set up our lives together, let's work as a team and prove everyone wrong. let's show there that this CIVIL WAR between our black men and women does not exist and that our race wants to build strong successful families and raise good well adjusted black children. i am waiting ........ ;-)

  • To all the beautiful black women in this video and watching this video. I'm a black man and I wish you all the best in life. Peace.

  • Same goes for the brothers.

  • I just read the comments from these people on this subject. It just reflects what type of men are out there for our women. That is why the single rate is so high. Read the comments these people wrote. Little do they know it displays their own character. Good men are far few and between. I will for the first time in my life open myself up to other races outside of my own.

  • I must agree. I have also read the comments. These men have actually displayed their views but also reminded us why those women did not want them. Sad to say but I hope they do not display that type of attitude on a daily basis. Its okay to voice your opinion but its a right and wrong way. Whining, mimicing (some gentleman has actually responding through this way), contradicting, and belittle someone's else is not attractive.

  • God wants us all to find enjoyment and fulfillment in life with Him first before we link with someone else.

  • Just because woman are happy & satisfied while being single, doesn't mean they don't want a relationship.

  • sounds like a load of excuses if you ask me. life is what you make of it and this film puts sole responsibility on the black man too one sided.

  • Firstly, have the majority of you watched the film or just seen the trailer. To the pathetic excuses from the black men, do not make the onus on the female because you are hurt you were rejected at some time in your life by a black women. The fact remains the population of men are CONSIDERABLY less than women so some will go without, sad but true

  • wrong! the real truth is, most of you "ladies" rejected the good , godly men for so long that we stop pursuing you. We can tell when we're not wanted and we'll go find those who will appriciate us_ whomever or whatever race they are. You ladies have been shooting yourselves in the foot for the last two decades. ENJOY!

  • the problem is most of you all do not care what we have to say in the first place. if you know so much well then why don't you have a man.

  • Continuation 2: I have since that film accepted my singleness as a gift, but know that not being married doesn't mean someone did something wrong that is a very IGNORANT AND SMALL view, I trust you are all bigger than those tiny opinions.

    Vanessa P. A. Evelyn

  • What you really mean is: you have accepted the fact tha no real man wants you so now you act like you don't want to be involved with anyone. Over the years you made yourself unmarriable so now instead of changing your ways in order to win a mans heart you just embrace and embody the things that make you undesirable and blame it on God, calling it "A GIFT! I know that trick.

  • This is known as the Pee Wee Herman defense: "I meant to do that".

  • Malkum77, I thankyou so much for your wisdom, the best to you.

I see you really spend a lot of time in "your" word, just wondering what "word" it is, that according to Malkum. I trust God so much that you will be challenged in your life to mature and to exprience Gods plan for your life that differs from what you plan for your life, that will be my prayer for you as of today.

  • yes in fact I do spend considerable time in THE word (as opposed to "my" or "your" word)so I know what it does and most importantly, does not say!And I know the difference between someones true calling form God, and what they settle for when they can't get what they want.

  • Its a tragedy to see God's people give up on anything they hope for be it love, health, a better life for themselve or liberty from bondage, and claim that its God will! We can't give in to that temptation at the first or thirty-first sign of resistance.

  • For starters, it should not take anyone 20-30 years to figure out whether its God's will for you to either marry or be selabate. If that were the will of God you would have had no question about it from at least 20s. Even then there is a lot that your own will factors in this matter. Remember Jesus said if we abide in him and his word abides in us we can ask what WE WILL and it will be done.

  • what?

    This makes no sense

  • Continuation: so we must be sensitive, not everyone married suggest they did the right thing, just look at the divorce rate, it speaks volumes, I would rather be with out than to have made the mistake of my life, for I plan to be married ONLY ONE TIME and if that means at 60 and I get only a year with my husband it would have been worth it, than to be married 20 miserable years,

  • I find it so interesting that so many have a view on the women in this film but have not met any of these women to know if JUST perhaps God has permitted (Romans 8:28) some to be with out for a good reason, i am one of the women in that film and I can tell you that I would have loved to be married and I am not for no fault of mine but RATHER that was not in Gods plan for me,

  • I'm a black woman, and this shit disturbs me. Maybe if you stop being so damn argumentative and stop making bad decisions, this shit wouldn't have happened. Cry me a damn river. KARMA IS A BITCH!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Unlike these desperate broads, I got a man!!!!!

  • This video is pertaining to Godly, virtuous women, and from the looks of the words you wrote you...ain't that...

  • mmm...

  • most of the same rules apply, if not more so: If you want a good man then you have to be a good woman. You have to be what they wantjust as they have to be what you want.Being godly will not make up for a lack of social skills, good attitude, style, FRIENDLINESS, being down to earth and real. No real man wants to marry "aunt esther" or the church lady from snl!I've got 3 aunts who fit that description, two are divorced and one, I don't know how she managed to keep him around.

  • To the nick7477, keep on laughing all the way till he dumps your ass, having a man now dont mean you will be together forever, you aint in a position to gloat at anyone, trust. No one is squeaky clean and it aint as simple to say singleness i punishment, guess this highlights the need for EDUCATION in the black community.

  • Thank You. You may have been a little harsh in that comment but we need more good black women like you to speak out again this propaganda that is perpetuated by older bitter black women.

  • this is the funniest thing i have seen in my life

  • That is what you get when you thumb your nose up at men, ride your high horse, put down men, and chase after thugs (in your young years) only to expect a "good man", the man you turned your nose up at while you where younger and expect them to take care of you and love you when you are "old" and used up?

Women these days seriously have their heads up their asses.

  • That's not just a black woman thing, it's an American woman thing. It's cultural, brought on by the overall movements of our society. You don't find this problem anywhere else in the world, except possibly some EU countries which developed along a similar path.

  • 42.3 % wow,

  • wah wah wah

  • Yeah RIGHT!!!

Today's black women want to sit in the drivers seat and call shots in relationships without accepting any of the responsibilities that come along with assuming that role!

BOO! HOO! HOO! all you want, Live with the monster that you yourself have created black women!

  • This is an excellent documentary. Although it is about Black Women, it is for all women and even men.

Every Women's ministry department and/or Family Life department or Young Ministry department needs to share this DVD. Just do a search on the internet for soulmate film. Go get a copy of the entire documentary and get a few copies for your friends. Let's make it viaral!

  • That is such bias and over generalization. These women on this DVD are very successful. This ain't no wah, wah matter. There is a "disproportionate" situation with black men and women. This film is about putting the truth out there. But I see that still, we are worth nothing. When we stand up (in this situation), they (you) want us to sit down, when we sit down, they call us nobodies...This video is intellectual and spiritual, it is not for fools...thus move on please!

  • successful at what? having a job? hoo-fuckin-ray. these women don't say anything about their PERSONALITIES. i hate to break it to you, but jobs and money don't attract men to women.

  • @DGIMedia Damn that's real though, and that's what I ALWAYS say. Whenever women come with that whole resume B.S. as to explain why they shouldn't be single, they ALWAYS mention their credentials n ish, not realizing that those do NOT make a man want them at all. I could care less about your career if you don't want kids, hate cooking, prefer working 60 hours a week, or don't get along with my family.

  • @DGIMedia really your right because you have oprah money and still no one man would want to deal with that.... I mean a REAL MAN!!!

  • Wow your right this video is over generalization for black women. It also falsely represents a LIE that all ALL or MOST black women of today are like the ones in this video. What propaganda I must say.

  • wah wah wah wah! if women were not so picky in there younger days when they were so attractive then they would not be in this situation

  • you sound like someone who truly do not know what you are talking about how short of your sight.

  • Good point these older women did not take advantage of their youth. And they also want no self-accountability for being single.
