I put the scope on the rifle before I ever used it, so I can't say much about the factory sights. But the Bushmaster rifles are highly accurate and I do some real damage to the sagerats in Oregon.

Did you have to zero the rifle when come out the box?
Did you have to adjust the front sight? I read the manual and they said that maybe not need to addjust because "factory set" is very closed??

Got the same rifle. Try the 40 grain Hornady Ballistic Tips. Not only are they accurate, but they do wonders to a full bottle of water!!
