In addition to tapping or whistleling, you might want to go to walmart and purchase a "hotel-door-alarm" or anything like that. They are loud and small. The hotel door alarm is for when you travel and it's the size of a pack of cigarettes, the hous door/window alarm is the size of a 9volt battery. Saves on lungs and energy. (get the one with the flashing red light)
In keeping with your theme, I would also recommend some kind of pry bar or demo tool, take a look either the annihilator or the pulverizer, with one of these you may be able to extricate yourself, and if you haven't already, look into having your house, if you own it, seismically upgraded to prevent the house coming off the foundation.
