i was cecking out verizons page on the droid and it says that you have to buy a data plan, now if u just buy one off of ebay without a plan couldnt you just use the wifi instead of buying the whole data plan?

@CrusoeCale there is a code to bypass the activation screen and use it with wifi data only. Tap the corners of the screen Top Left, Top right, Bottom Right, Bottom Left and you're good to go.

i'm fine with my droid as is, i have rooted it, but i cant get the next step (the custom recovery mode).. but my phone has 'super user access'.. can i download the app and install it as i on my droid? or do i NEED a custom OS
