The question on my mind is if he can really say which is more effective, without testing and tracking it.
Yeah it definitely seems like on one level that people like to be sold in a non-pressured way, but there are plenty of examples in business where that just doesn't seem to be true.
Take for example the internet marketing / bizopp niche, which is full of high-pressure sales tactics and outright lies and exaggerated claims, and yet people still buy.
