Engine noise and vibrations? Wtf. The people who complains about those things are either too old to understand what those are, are either more then 50years old or has no taste in sports car.
what they are saying is that the car isn't as refined as some other sports cars. I had a 305z breifly (got it from Dulles VA Carmax) and the engine was powerful and smooth but also strained so you feel fatigued after driving it. My 01 GT is slower then the 350z but the v8 doesn't wear you out.
i just bought a 2007 350Z coupe tonight and im in love with the car its supid fun to drive and the 6-speed gearbox is awesome...really good car and they're cheap as hell now too...i got my 07 with 4,503 miles for 20,500!!!! i think it was a bad ass deal its black/black fully loaded (no navi tho) with the nice 18" wheels. highly reccoment this car to anybody! :)

re my previous post.. Nissan made the RB26 which was a Porsche killer... so don't tell me it can't be done and a reasonable price.. too much Carlos Ghosn/Renault influence if you ask me! And why would improving the engine make it the same price as a Porsche??
if the z is made awd it would beat the sti and evo's now dont get me wrong king of king's of 4 bangers are evo's and sti's and i love both of them but dont underestimate a z smooth car just the freaking awd is what makes the sti and evo those types of cars, i mean i can buy a audi 2.7 with 255 hpp and 260 tq and upgrade it a little with new exhaust, front mount intercooler, boost timer, and newer intake and trust me it will beat a evo awd system, audi's are bad for the price
The Z is pretty slow compared to Subaru WRX STI and Mitsubishi EVO. But it looks so good even sitting still. That's why I chose it over the others. Maybe if it lost about 800 lbs it would have a good power to weight ratio. "IF IT AINT BLACK, TAKE IT BACK!"
It depends on the tuning of the cars, both WRX and EVO will jump ahead due to their advantage of 4WD. Some videos show the Z beating a EVO, might be the tuning, or might be the cars. ;)
Oh, and this engine is VERY smooth. The power delivery is incredibly linear. I owned a 2006 Nissan 350Z and now I am doing the paperwork on my Limited Edition 2007 Nismo 350Z.

I would have, but I totalled my 06' on a back road 1 week before I was deployed overseas. Actually, the road is very bad and has alot of fatalities, one of which was a month and a half earlier one of my close shipmates died there. The 07' is faster than my 06'. I ran a 13.56 in the 1/4 with my 06' and all I had was Resonated Test Pipes and an aftermarket Y pipe. There are alot of videos of stock 07' running 13.3's. All in All I loved my 06' Z.
This guy is a joke, he should learn a little about the car before he makes a video on it. They didn't change the headlights or the marker lights for 2007...ALL 2006 models had the same HID's and LED marker lights. The 2007 has a new hood due to the heightened block deck and the engine has been 80% reworked with stronger internals and a boost of 500rpm so now the VQ35HR runs until 7500rpm. I really wish I could get a job like this...atleast I could give people the real scoop on cars.
yeah well r u willing to pay the price of it? who would take a nissan over a porsche for the same price? of course it can be done, but it would be a waste of money for nissan. their best shot right now is the gt-r which is considerably cheaper and slightly better performer than a 911 turbo
eh if you talk about the ram air they have been doing that for evcer i have an 80zx and it has ram air and engenering wise Nissan is WAYYYY beter r34 or bust yo that the true japanese awd car

I got my 06 Enthusiast for $28K. Bought a Crawford Plenum and strut brace for $200 on Ebay and got a JWT Pop Charger for $80. Voila 300hp.
