@Timthecommie I believe it's 1/4" cables. This is usually the standard on most pro equipment. I'm not sure about the specs on the Korg SV1, but I would assume yes.
@DominicKedge You are somewhat limited to only recording to the 4 pads. If you tried a similar method on the Korg Kaossilator Pro though, each pad can record an infinite number of overdubs. So it's a little more flexible in that regard. You can most certainly record in and loop a drum kit from the Juno G if you desired. Anything that can be plugged into the RCA ins on the back or the mic jack in on the front can be recorded and looped.
how come when i hook my keyboard up to the kp3 i have to keep hold on a certain effect in order for the keyboard to be heard. how did u manage to hear u keyboard without having to press hold on a certain effect.
@cheesy4eva hmmm... hard to say when I can't see your setup exactly. I would suggest the following: make sure the toggle switch is set to "select line", make sure your input volume and level slider are turned up, try bringing the fx depth knob down... also, some of the effects (like sample etc.) work in the way you've described. try using a different effect. that's all I can say for now. try it out. good luck!
this is perfect. I got the juno G and was wondering if I could connect a Korg Pad, and mate, you answered the question. Also this is an awesome piece of music and a great use of the KP3, well done dude ;-)
Unfortunately, all of my videos record in a mirror-like mode because I use photobooth on my Mac and it defaults that way. I'm right handed but sometimes I wish I was a lefty!
Really like this one. More of an experssion of what you can do with a basic instrument. (not that the Juno-G is a basic instrument. But the fact you are not switching between sounds and using phasers and low passes and the such.) And it seems you can do nice things.
Thanks again for the kind words on my video post. I am glad you enjoyed.
I know the Juno-G is a beast! capable of doing very intricate work. But I wanted to keep it fairly simple this time around and see what I could do with one sound and this is what came out. Thanks for watching and for the feedback. Can't wait to catch your next vid.
wow really?! I've never heard anyone describe it that way... I do love video games and their music, so I will take the compliment graciously :) thank you
Can use this video/music as a sample in my music/video ?

What is the input/output cable for your keyboard. Do you know if the Korg SV1 has the same port?

hey, have you reversed the keys on the Juno-G to compensate for being left handed by any chance??
