For two years I have lived in a little village in Germany, where I was able to walk for many hours in the nature without meeting a single human being, something I was not able to experience in India. But when you walk from those roads, you will find other things than just smiles. You will find miserable people, broken families, childrens tombstones and sickness. People with disabilities and dyslexic people hurt and frozen out.

Yes, we western people have lost smiles along the way to a better society. We might need a reminder of how to smile. But if choosing between their live style and ours was an ultimatum, I would have chosen ours!

One thing I noticed is that all these people live in the countryside. No traffic to fight, piles of bills to pay, rat poison to manufacture and ship, etc. I think that's the secret. You can find unspoiled people and lifestyles in western society too (at least to some degree) if you look outside of the densly populated places. Cities tend to harden people up while country folk are just generally nicer. Great video and message! :D
