FSX landing on 9600gt

Are you running it on highest settings? Because I have an Nvidia 9600 GT and I get a really low fps, all drivers upgraded.

Heh I have a bit better PC than you with the same video chard but I got only ab. 20 fps on most airports (with setting to low, so no autogen etc) on bigger airports (like LIRF, KORD, KJFK etc.) I got only 7 fps :(. What is the prblem of my frame rates or what should I do to make them higher! HELP...

i have 2 9600;s with 8 gig memory. awesome man. for this you dont need a gtx 295 thats way over kill. and lotsa money but on the other hand im really liking that ati 4870. awesome specs.

Beeping sound is the VOR, looks like you where little bit high on final, RWY 23 at YPAD has good vertical guidance.

yeah i would do that but i have to buy a whole new power supply, so i wont have all the money i want for the 9800. I can most likely get the 1024MB 9600.

No, it's an ILS warning. Obviously this is an ILS landing. The plane picks up the ILS signal and starts descending automaticly towards the runway. When you are close to the runway you set Autopilot off and retract the nose up for a smooth landing. It's working great. And nice graphics by the way.

i have NO idea what the beeping sound is, it just started by itself. The beeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound u usaully solve by slowing down but at 140 knots it still there i have no idea.

try the aproach at 130 knots. see if its the stall indicator or ils system. moris code?

the beeping i thing is the ils system but the other one couldnt be the stall indicator. It was a bit heavy (just doin a big circut of adelaide) to come in at 130 knots cos i forgot to ajust fuel.

other sound is the gear warning sound because u have ur flaps full but gear not down.. and the throttles at idle

FSX doesn't run well even if you have 4GB RAM and 9600gt (you still get the chuggy frames), hence, FS2004 still is the best flight sim.

try going to your control panel and unselect the "let aplication decide" and then select "use best quality" your ground textures look horrible.

not true look at some of my videos.. light bloom fraps and traffic can put a toll on the system but i can still get FSX to look way better than you can get fs9 to look while getting the same frame rate.
