..... this is not the 'A Elbereth Gilthoniel' as in the book, is it? cause i know the lyrics by heart, and it didn't sound like it. either its a longer version i don't know, or i just didn't recognize it because the sound quality is not so good. the singing is very beautyfull though!! and the pronunciation as far as i can tell is also very nice!! i enjoyed it!
As you said, this is not the 'regular' A Elbereth Gilthoniel, but it was written by a member of our Tolkien Society, known for being one of the best experts in Quenya and Sindarin.
We, spanish speakers, have an advantage on elvish pronunciation, because almost every phoneme is similar to spanish ones, and also we have no idiomatic accents, so our pronunciation is very clean.

@TheWomblemaster If you READ the PREVIOUS COMMENTS, you'll notice this is a REHEARSAL... and they don't use any microphone.
The sound was gathered on my videocam, and also, in order to upload the video, I had to reduce the quality of the video.
Thanx for your comment.

This is excellent ! The singing in the LOTR, with the awesome musical score, was a big part in setting the mood,as well as accompanying it as well...
