@Quixilvertheband No its not..... That is exactly the same speed as my 12" vinyl copy... I also have a copy of "Nowhere Girl" on a compilation LP from the same period and that is actually very slightly slower in tempo... Maybe that's the version you have in mind? Remembering of course that the record companies were churning out dozens of versions.... I have 4 or 5 different 12" versions of Visage's "Visa-age"!!

@EriqueBonito I wouldn't really call this post punk. I grew up in 80's and the punk, british new wave, goth music, even heavy metal was all happenning at the same time. No youtube back then, so you had to be hardcore to know what what going on. It just depended on mtv, big labels making it mainstream. Real punk happenned in late 70's, but it was all underground. Keep on listening.
