@Spies152 Yes, from the fight or flight or the sympathetic nervous system and proprioception or your bodies position in space will have altered signals to your brain
I have been seeing a chirpractor for many months and my Atlas was doing well. I have been under a lot of stress and anxiety at work and either my Atlas or other vertebrae in my neck have been coming out almost every week. Can stress do this?
Chiropractic would have died a long time ago if it didn't work. Thanks for the video and the truth. Irritation to the nervous system does result in abnormal function of the body and the inability to adapt optimally to its environment. A gross interference like a spinal cord lesion or a nerve being cut would result in paralysis of muscles and death of tissues. Smaller interferences cause gradual loss of function and health. Silently most of the time.
In a Iridiologist consult the doctor said that could see i had spine problem in tha toracic area and liver and intestines.they are not working well.I belive is T4 to T6, not sure wich one, but we can see it very clear the misalignment in the spine.
I also suffer form chest tightness, bad digestion, and can not fix it trhu diet..and i don´t have stress in my life .i hope to find the cause, maybe a visit to chiroprat may help. Thanks for the video
@MrEspadix subluxated vertebre cause a change in afferentation or sensory input to the brain from proprioception or your bodies position in space, it can also cause a sympathetic dominant or fight or flight responce so blood supply to the gut is shut down heart rate, blood pressure, and cholesterol all increase, so it can cause a lot of symptoms, not low oxygen but everything else is possible
I have seen this year more than ever before MD's getting patients off the drugs they prescribed, Edison was right when he said the doctor of the future will give no drugs but educate his patients in the care of the human frame and the cause of disease. The body is self regulating and self healing, that should be common knowlege. Chiropractors work with the body to restore health
If our spines are so fragile that any small bump puts a vertebrae out of place, we would have been extinct long ago. How did ancient humans hunt without dying from subluxations? How did the Egyptians build the pyramids without chiropractors? Five chiropractors can look at the same X-ray and they will all find the "subluxations" in different spots. If it's not hurting, there is no need to "adjust" it. As for subluxations? In my informed opinion they are like bigfoot and the loch ness monster.
@bjs8145 Just to back you up, as a chiro, you cannot reverse osteoarthritis. that is something permanent. I think johnbchiro was sleeping during that lecture.
In fact johnbchiro... you are the first chiro i have heard of to make that specific claim...although there are more ridiculous claims out there.
@krzyweplecy If you want to educate your self on spinal reshaping or the neurology/ physiology look up the chiropractic techniques that do spinal correction such as CBP, Gonstead, Pettibone, just to name a few. Lesson 1 for you is neurology you change structure you change proprioception and that changes autonomic function ...lesson 2 look up wolfs law for reversal of arthritis
In 1973, Congress authorized payment under Medicare for chiropractic treatment of "subluxations demonstrated by x-rays to exist." In 1972, to enable payment, chiropractors held a consensus conference that redefined "subluxations" to include common findings that others could see. The document, several pages long, described the supposed x-ray manifestations of 18 types of "subluxations,"
Subluxations are phoney. There is NO conclusive proof of their link to disease. Moreover, if 10 different chiropractors reviewed the same x-ray, they would identify 10 different subluxations.
@noliberals123 The Federal Government of the United States specifically defines what chiropractors do as the detection and correction of subluxation under Medicare and Federal worker's compensation laws. Common to all state statutes is the adjustive process being utilized to reduce subluxations and the resultant interference to nerve transmission. Google subluxation and you will get over a million hits do the research learn about the nervous system
@johnbchiro Chiropractors also disagree on whether their "subluxations" are visible on x-ray films. "Straight" chiropractors tend to believe that they cause nerve interference, are readily visible, and that virtually everyone gets them. Most other chiropractors ("mixers") define subluxations loosely and see them when it suits their convenience. Chiropractors who reject subluxation theory consider them invisible but have been forced to acknowledge them to get paid by Medicare
@johnbchiro- Other developed countries class chiropractic as no better than crystal therapy or any other new age con tricks. There is no science behind it at all! You can get a million hits for 'little green men' on google- doesn't make them real either!
@ech1dna Um, in Canada Chiropractors practice side by side in Hospitals and they perform research together as equals. And, there are more than 20 Peer Reviewed Chiropractic Journals where we publish our research. Chiropractors who are combined DC, MD, PhDs (they hold all three degrees) have done extensive research review studies validating the safety and efficacy of Chiropractic for several health conditions. Many of these studies are published journals listed on PubMed.
@johnbchiro And we all know the government is usually right about everything. Time to remove the term "subluxation" from the books. It's either an outdated 19th century mystical term or a scam.
I am a chiropractor and I say this guy is an idiot! Please please please do not change the amount of insulin you are taking because a chiropractor shows you an x ray and tells you that you have a subluxation and that he fixed it...Please talk to your medical doctor about changing your insulin medication.
@pmalarts You name calling POS if you are a Real Practicing Chiropractor then you know that patients check thier blood sugar daily and the diabetic patient gages the amount needed to maintain a healthy level , if you understand neurology then check out the affects of correct afferentation on the autonomics and if you want to really help your patients then reshape thier spines and you will get the same result that I get for my patients
@johnbchiro I am aware of how diabetic patients check their glucose levels and how they take insulin. I am well aware of how the ANS works...Please email me a evidence based scholarly published journal that states that reallignment (lines on an x-ray) of the spine decreases the need for a type 1 diabetic's insulin shot. Thanks.
@pmalarts Thank you for speaking up doc. It seems like for every rational chiropractor like yourself there are five who are....um....you get the idea.
@pmalarts I am sorry but my gut tells me you are not even a chiropractor....maybe just a medical doctor who is jelous at the great success Chiropractor are having with people...
This just in from the Chiropractic Journal; Misalignment of the spinal column will in most cases be found to be caused by the weight of a wallet or handbag carried on one or the other side of the patient. Careful consideration should be given to procedures that will reduce the mass of these "lucre deposits" thereby eliminating a source of imbalance.
Thank you for sharing your video, I have learned alot from it and showed it to my mom who is suffering from it and is in extreme pain. We are just wondering what it is that you did to correct the spine of your patients to make the pain alleviate. If its surgery or just a mix of exercise and chiropractic care?

There is no scientific evidence for the existence of "subluxations." This is pure chiropractic propaganda and mythology. By the way, this guy is no doctor.
If you are really interested in subluxation you can look up any orthopedic journal such as "spine" or "JVSR" or "JAMA" they are all doing studies on subluxations and the effect on physiology, look up Chiropractic and blood pressure and you will see a double blind study by University of Chicago that showed one Chiropractic adjustment was has effective as 2 blood pressure meds. and I am NOT a Medical Doctor and I don't want to be I am a Doctor of Chiropractic that is what DC stands for
@johnbchiro As a chiropractor who practices evidence based chiropractic, the last place you should look for evidence is JVSR. Why, because there is NO evidence for subluxations, just like there is none for the tooth fairy. The term subluxation and scientific research should not be in the same sentence together. And just because the journal is peer reviewed means nothing. Please do not go to Subluxation based chiro's

are subluxation detecteble by taking an Xray?
for example
anterior oblique view in Extension(Stretch) standing of the thoracic and Lumbar spine combined (vertebrae minimized to thumbnail size with pacs x ray)
is this a way of detecting subluxations? or is this a way of taking an x ray to detect the mobility of the vertebrae?
or let i ask it otherwise why would they take an x ray like i described above
