  • Terrible advice. You guys need to study nutrition before telling everyone what to eat. 60% of the cows in the U.S. carry the leukemia virus, are sick from antibiotics & are injected with hormones. Dairy is not good for you & evaporated milk in a can is even worse!

  • Step 1. Ramen.

  • I followed this and now I'm really sick >.>

  • what is after walnuts, isnt that the same thing also....o_o

  • @answerOfstupids those are pecans... they're not the same as walnuts -- different taste, texture, and different shell. google them. they can usually be found in grocery stores sold whole (in the shell) this time of year, so maybe you can do a comparison

  • @RenGrayson lol thanks for telling me the name of that thing, which according to some dictionary is "similar to a walnut". I do remember tasting something bitter in a different way once at this specialized shop, but it looked like walnut.

  • @answerOfstupids ^_^ no prob. compared to walnuts, pecans have a slightly sweeter, buttery taste, especially if they're fresh nuts. when nuts are rancid or moldy, they taste kinda bitter. walnuts are a lot higher in omega-3.

to get the best benefits from them, eat nuts & seeds "raw" (or unroasted). the roasting process makes them rancid, removes their good qualities, and makes 'em kinda damaging to your body. you can compare their nutritional content at nutritiondata(dot)com.

  • BULL SHIT id better take an arrow in my knee

  • Holla! Have you tried cleverous 402 diet (search on google)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cooworker lost a lot of weight with it.

  • Mom: you no what this mean...

me: yepp ur goin on a dieeeeet!!!

  • Ew. :/

  • Yeah, like cheap meat is healthy.

  • @omgf34fme

why isn't it healthy? it's only tougher meat from the same animal that makes the tender, more pricier meat cuts.

  • did anyone notice how incredibly long that list is?

  • Cool video! :)

Oh oh, Isnt the title ''How To Feed Your Family Healthy Meals On A Tight Budget ''? Then why at 2:06 You Tell Us To by rice that's PRICIER, i thought this was on a tight budget lmfaoo -.-

  • Actually healthy food: brown rice, quinoa, kale, beets, spinach, celery, cucumber, apple, grass fed organic LOCAL meats (avoid red meat), beans, organic local eggs, gluten free foods, no refined sugars or processed starches, micro biotics first thing in the morning (a.k.a. vegetables FRESH, not frozen) FRESH vegetables are more healthy than canned and frozen.

  • Thanks so much for this information. Good to know there are so many people on the same page as we are at WildCrazyDelicious!

  • Audiences

This video is most popular with:

    Gender Age

    Female 45-54

    Female 13-17

    Female 35-44

Thas riight women, make me a samich

  • @PChil50 Shut up. You are a sexist, who has no right to be commenting these kind of comments. Not everybody cares for four sexist ways.

  • @MildredEThompson Srry if I offended anyone, HUGE mistake. Not kidding.

  • Great video. I buy extra of both fruits and veggies when they go on sale to freeze and use later.

  • great video

  • Tight Budget? put life insurance on urself and find a bridge. problem solved everyone eats better now!

  • Brown rice just has some of the husk left on the outside, so it wont be better than white rice. But a really great video!!!!

  • @ExemplaryRadiation No. brown rice is healthier for you.

if you strip away the brown parts you take out a lot of the fiber from the rice,

but people prefer white rice because they think it tastes better and it can last better.

stop spreading retarded information please, the last thing we need is more wannabe food experts.

  • @lcabod Thank you for correcting me. I'm not trying to be a food expert, and I do not appreciate you telling me to stop spreading "retarded" information. Someone told me that brown rice and white rice were equally healthy and I was just commenting on something that I THOUGHT was wrong. I did say it was a great video, which is true, and I am not trying to make people believe anything they don't want too.

  • @ExemplaryRadiation Even if you weren't trying to make people believe something they don't want to, they're still gonna do it..

And i'm also sorry for being a jackass when I said that, I was just tired of ppl giving false info!

  • @ExemplaryRadiation Just remember that just because "someone told you" something in regards to health, nutrition, and fitness, that doesn't mean it's true. Be careful giving information to others unless you got it from a very reliable source to begin with.

  • @ExemplaryRadiation

I heard wheat bread and white bread has the same nutrients. Though brown rice at least has different sugars than white.

oh and before someone calls me naive or ignorant, wheat bread is different than whole grain or 7grain.

  • wtf is up with howcast and peanut butter???

  • am i the only one who herd crack pot

  • Check out my healthy meal on my channel costs about $4.25 keeps you energized and vitamized all day long.

  • There are many people in the world who do not have a way to heat or cook food. It takes energy to heat a stove.

I am a fan of raw food for that very reason , but people still like to use food processors that also use energy.

Cutting boards and knives are the basic essentials to me, but it is still very difficult to prepare food at all where I live.

I really like the simple idea of picking an apple off of a tree and eating it.

  • @LaLobaSpirit where do you live? why is it difficult to prepare food where u are at?

  • @LaLobaSpirit i love raw food too! :D except for meat of course :P

  • What about the cost of the energy you are using to cook it all?

  • @LaLobaSpirit Are you serious to cook it all? You'll get fat because of this...

  • this video was really cool !

  • Great food Tips

  • Hahaha! Im looking at an ad at the top right corner advertising taco bell's shrimp tacos. It says "Warning to customers with shrimp allergies: Shrimp products contain shrimp. LOL

  • @wemusttry now there is a yoplait ad

  • @wemusttry My best friend once pointed out on a jar of peanut butter "Warning: Contains Peanuts".

  • @wemusttry Where is it at? I dont see it :(

  • @letsplay171 They stopped selling um...I think they just did a temporary run for Lent.

  • @letsplay171 IT'S not the same for everyone...

  • Great information.

  • Dont eat at all or order off the kids menu for everyone

  • The thing about Peanut Butter is that the Peanuts are grown in the south with cotton as their rotation crop, and cotton crops are routinely doused with high amounts of pesticides. Peanut plants also have an uncanny ability to suck toxins out of soil. I would recommend sunflower seed oil, tastes way better in my opinion and it's not loaded with cancer causing endocrine disruptors.

  • @gearlockT oops I said oil, but meant to say sunflower seed butter.

  • @mrgdog400 I got it, Ballistic Banana ! Lol

  • GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHESS!!!!!! YUMMM!!!!

  • @mrgdog400 bananaman idiot. r u fucking retarded rofl dumbass

  • 260 poor moms watched this

  • I thought it said, Optional: Crackpot.

  • I have done my research and I have found an inexpensive, low water use, green gardening system that provides nutritious fruits and vegetables that give you more bang for your buck. You will be able to sustain your own family and even share with the neighbors. I have seen the system myself at one of the Garden clinics they provide and I was amazed. . His name is Ted Hallett and they call him The Garden Master. Google him for his website and other articles.

  • CROCKPOT

  • Thank you so much. Succinct and easy to absorb. Got a lot of these items at home and making much better use of my crock pot. I watch out for offers on fish/meat/chicken. But although I'm not vegetarian, I don't mind using pulses as very good alternatives. Brown rice is a great filler. Pick up cheap tinned tomatoes to add to soups/currys/casseroles. Invest in condiments like salt/pepper/chili/curry powder/garlic powder. You can freeze herbs to use later. Thanks again!

  • AnointingWatersdotcom!!

  • Tight budget? an apple and a loaf of bread is good enough for me lol

  • I'm at a loss for cooking ideas and my date is coming over tonight! ty cookingdinnerfortwo (.) com

  • Almonds are fruits!

  • @libra729

    no they are seeds

  • @megasword33 No, they are a type of drupe. (Quoted from Wikipedia): "In botany, a drupe is a fruit in which an outer fleshy part (exocarp, or skin; and mesocarp, or flesh) surrounds a shell (the pit or stone or pyrene) of hardened endocarp with a seed inside. These fruits develop from a single carpel, and mostly from flowers with superior ovaries. The definitive characteristic of a drupe is that the hard, lignified stone (or pit) is derived from the ovary wall of the flower."

  • you said all the nuts besides mine

  • ಠ_ಠಠ_ಠಠ_ಠ

  • How does frozen vegetables have more nutrients then fresh? sorry but I just don't get that

  • @Lee2k4

    google it ಠ_ಠ

  • @Lee2k4 Fresh vegatables are usually shipped (many unripe) across the country, and they start to lose some of their nutrients as soon as their picked. Frozen are usually processed very soon after their picked, so they retain more of their nutritional value.

  • Oatmeal and apples yay!!!!!!

  • great video!!

  • no offence but i would never eat half this stuff. good vidio though!

  • doesn't work in Denmark :/ all healthy things cost tons >.<

  • Peanut Butter = Healty Food?? O_o umm.......???

  • @funnystarchild Actually, natural peanut butter is really healthy.

  • @funnystarchild it is, it has healthy fats.

  • @funnystarchild It is very high in protein and has healthy natural fats, but most brands(like Skippy) are chock full of fillers and preservatives, so it would depend on where you get it.

  • how bout optional:

    a crack pot

  • Thats reminds me of a helathy alternative to French Fries. Take a sweet potato, cut in into french fry wedges. Then spread a little olive oil ( enough to coat all sides of the sweet potato wedges) on a baking pan, through some salt on it, then the potato "fries", and pop in the oven at 380 for about 15 minutes. THEY ARE SO FRICKEN GOOD. AND GOOD FOR YOU!!!

  • @Kiantayuzamaki salt and oil are fattening so no not that healthy

  • @MrDip02 A nutritionist you are not. Olive oil is great for you and salt is good in moderation.

  • @FakeApology im not speaking in moderation

  • @MrDip02 Then you're the one making it "unhealthy", aren't you?

  • @FakeApology how can magicly make food "unhealthy"

  • @MrDip02 By not using salt in moderation, of course.

  • @Kiantayuzamaki I do that with potatoes....

  • @Kiantayuzamaki o mai gawd thanks for the receipi

  • @Kiantayuzamaki Thanks :D sounds good

  • @Kiantayuzamaki fuck u fagget.

  • @BabieLici BANANA ICECREAM is delicious!! very very tasty and simple to make! and what receipe for ice-cream do u have?? share with me, please!

  • Video in short: if you are on a tight budget, live on cannings! xD

  • I swear to god, if I see this damn marshalls commercials one more time...

  • Massagers for Your Parents - Come to my Channel :)

  • Easy...get rid of the convenient Junk food like candy and that high fructose corn syrup crap that's in soda and Energy Drinks for your entire life. Get the foods you see in this video...Bam! You will save a lot!!! Unfortunately, how many people out there actually take the time to do this? Not a whole lot.

  • im sorry but the frozen bannana thing isnt working for me. the whole idea just sounds nasty ..... ice cream? please..

  • Hi great and tasty information for this economic times!!!

  • bloody adds !!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • hey- buying all this stuff to use is alot of money.

  • 2 or 3 times a week!!!!! What kind of life is that!!!!

  • I liked the penny frame-by-frame animation more than the video.

    :)

  • Good video

  • how is whole milk healthy again?

  • wow! that's some really good info. O.O i learned something

  • I'm thrown for a loop cuz the money winked at me. I had to rewatch it like a billion times

  • What's the deal with white rice? I eat it since the beginning of time -- I'm still fine.

  • White rice is good; brown rice is better, since it's actually unmilled or just partially milled rice, more nutritious (ore vitamins, minerals...).

Think wholemeal flour as opposed to white flour.

Enjoy your rice, and stay healthy! :)

  • It's not as good for people with blood sugar problems because it creates a blood sugar spike.

  • In other words, white rice won't kill you, but brown rice is still better for you.

  • It has less nutritional value compared to brown rice.

  • Thanks for the video!

  • I am not on a tight budget nor do I have a family but this video was great.

  • @HipHopIsDeadMohsin Aww :( I'll be your mom

  • @TheBigStupidHead I have a mom and dad, I mean I don't have kids and a wife.

  • That is sooo cheap !!

  • WUT? o_O

  • hahaahhaha

  • eggs should not be a se4condary source of anything

  • i just buy chickies and they pay for the eggs, cuz they lay 'em!

its only 10-20 dollars for about 40ish eggsor more.

  • how much does it cost to mantain a chiken thats gona lay 25 egs a year ( without drugs )

  • Thanks for a very good video!

  • hmm...very interesting vid

  • I FUCKING LOVE APPLES!

(insert insane pic of ryuk from deathnote here)

  • Love DeathNote!

  • @soulxeater7 this is totally false and just a stupid rumor.

  • It's not a good idea to buy in bulk... once I bought a big box of Cracker Jacks... there were moths in the box.

  • You should only be eating about 16oz of beef a week, beef breaks down strangly in your stomach and rots inside of you instead of breaking down proporly. Chicken is probably the most healthy meat for you, pork in moderation as well.

You can get the same nutrition from salads on a daily basis as eating meat. Making or buying Hummas is also a much healthier alternative to eating meat, add some Extra Virgin olive oil and some veggie sticks and you are on your way to a healty snack or meal.

  • @strongfp That beef comment is totally false, do your research.

  • @strongfp Are you vegan??? I know its random but I was just wondering.

  • @actsingdanceochsa Nope. In fact I eat alot of meat, tuna. chicken, pork, etc. Although at one point when I started out my new life style of gaining weight and losing fat, I almost became a vegitarian. Now I eat constantly as I am almost boarder line body builder, but I still manage to eat tastey meals unlike most body builders who are nutrition nazi's.

  • luvely

  • nice stopmotion

  • i dont know why but i laughed SOOO HARD WHEN i read this comment!!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo

  • ur joking right. . . . ..

  • I'm glad you mentioned alternative sources of protein because eating a couple of meat items per week is not enough. This also provides good ideas for college students who don't want to eat just cup of noodles every day.

  • did she say that tuna fish has MERCURY in it?!?! oh and peanuts are nuts there beans

  • Tuna has a lot of mercury but not as much as Albacore. I usually buy canned Salmon as it contains no mercury.

  • Mercury is poison of course you know this but NOEY!! DX

  • Mm... Mercury sounds good right now.

  • zack is poop

  • Hey I thought your video was great!

If you guys are looking for a healthy eat in the morning, check out "Wanda's Little Kitchen"

  • Peanut butter IS healthy, as long as you eat it in moderation. Frozen vegetables have the same nutritional values as fresh vegetables, you just have to prepare it properly. The video said to buy fresh season fruits, except for bananas and apples, so that part of your comment doesn`t even make sense. Canned milk is actually "true fresh milk" minus water, and it actually happens to be healthier because during the process of being heated, some harmful microorganisms are destroyed.

  • you know something, ALL milk, (canned, & fresh) is heated before they sell it, and you won't find any microorganisms in fresh milk, plus it tastes better than canned milk...

  • I agree, the fats contained in peanut butter are actually much better for you than those in butter and sweets. In fact, humans require moderate amounts of the very fats peanut butter contains to stay healthy, Also, canned veggies are basically the same as fresh veggies nutritionally, the only difference is that they must be rinsed off before consumption. Besides, canned milk is really just milk, it just may taste a little different. due to the canning process
