i remember sometime about 5 years ago maybe, i had a demo disk with a trailer for SH3 on it. the monsters didn't scare me until i bought the game. at 7 years old, the monsters were the scariest things on earth to me. now i'm 12, and i don't think they're that scary anymore. a bit freaky and disturbing, yes, scary? no.

When my sisters let me play silent hill 2,i was laughing constantly at everything.lol.The pyramid head thing that just wouldnt leave james alone,the goofy way he ran,and the bad acting.The one thing that scared me was walking down narrow halls and hearing noises like a monster would be right around the corner.haha.I think games where your character cant fight make them scarier.If dante were here id look forward to finding all the freaks in the rooms^^

At the end of the first game, Alessa/Cheryl (they were one single person, Alessa was 16) turned into a baby, who's Heather now. She was in the mall as in any normal day until she met Douglas, he was contracted by Claudia, an old friend of Alessa (think that if Alessa was 16, Claudia must be twice older, as they were childhood friends).

And its a pretty decent story in my opinion.

But I wont say any spoilers, so you could check out the silent hill wikia for it.

I'm sorry you don't get the full experience, but you'll understand if you just keep watching. Part of the Silent Hill is being thrust into hell with no understanding of what's happening, but the details come to you if you remain patient. :)

It depends on what level you're playing, first of all... that and you don't follow the order of numbers, but you follow the order of the secret black writing at the sides of all the books. You re-arrange them until you get a formation of four numbers, then you use those numbers to unlock the back door.
