nice video .but you missed one effect :hide the window ,its done on the top of the window and scrolling up and to show it again only scroll back .

its useful if u are watching something u should not be watching and somebody enters in your room.

Yea, I'm sure that doesn't put undue strain on your system. I just want an OS that runs efficiently, I don't care about ridiculous window effects... is that really too much to ask?

linux is very stable for what it is, i dont take up much background resources making it harder to crash :)

ok, this video has convinced me, I am going to buy a system to just try out Linux. Could you direct me in a good direction for learning some of the basics? Right now I am running just win XP Pro. BUT, I am going to be getting a mac, running bootcamp so that I can have win V and Leopard. But I think it would be awsesome to start up with expairmenting with Linux. You could do a dual boot Windows XP and Linux. Both XP and Linux support dual booting and if I'm not mistaken both create dual boot setups when you install the second OS... I know XP does anyway.
