How to jailbreak 1.1.2 on iPod Touch or iPhone!!

I've jailbroken it up to 1.1.3 before so I am hoping the Oktoprep is still downloaded.. it doesn't show up in installer so I think it is. :D

Type in something on youtube like downgrade 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and it there should be some videos that will teach you how to downgrade.

Once you've downgraded, you can follow this video to jailbreak the 1.1.2.

I had to do my own jailbreak with ziphone after 1.1.1 with oktoprep.After jailbreak was done with ziphone i lost the installer icon but then ran jailbreak 1.1.2 and it worked for me ..got the ssh and installer icon. thanks

you need to install Oktoprep in the 1.1.1 Tweaks folder on your ipod BEFORE you upgrade to 1.1.2. MAKE SURE that when you upgraded to 1.1.2 from 1.1.1 you clicked Upgrade instead of "Restore". there have been a few problems with this.

one way to tell that you have 1.1.2 is go into the calander and see if you can add events. if you don't have this you might just wanna change the system tag manually, or you could downgrade to 1.1.1 and start over.

If you're missing Tweaks 1.1.1, that means you don't have Community Sources installed.

Go to Sources and install "Community Sources". After this you should have a Tweaks 1.1.1 folder. From there you install OktoPrep and proceed with the rest.

Um.. I'm not sure, only because I don't have a Mac to experiment with. You couldd put it back into a firmware restore mode by holding the power button and the home button, but that would mean you would have to jailbreak 1.1.1 again.

its the same thing basically. when you downgrade to 1.1.1 you can not keep any of your music, or apps on your ipod. you HAVE to restore it in order to downgrade it.

One thing you forgot to mention which I did and I had no problem is to add .ipsw at the end of the 1.1.2 file that you hold shift for in itunes. idk cause my friend didnt put .ipsw at the end and his ipod was messed up for a while. May be different for everyone. Thanks for the vid though.
