After looking at eBay, it looks like you might get mabye $1,300 for it used now that the new models are out. Just keep an eye on eBay to see what they're selling for...otherwise, maybe try Craigslist or find a friend who's interested! Good luck!

I have been planning to buy the updated MacBook Pro for about 6 months...I've just been in waiting mode until today when they were released. I came up with the money from working full-time. I'm 25, and my husband and I both have full-time jobs that pay pretty well.

Hey there - thanks for showing the unboxing. I watched the keynote yesterday and was very impressed by what they've packed in to the new MacBook Pro! I want a MacBook Pro as well, but it's a shame that mine will cost NZ$5200 but that's cause I want the 2.8GHz processor for my CPU-intensive programs like Photoshop.

i am a first time macbook buyer, I just ordered the pro... but i am always been used to smaller computers. i have a sony vaio tx 11.3 inch. my only concern with the pro is that it might be too big for me. I wanted the regular macbook but it doesn't have the dual set up for the gpu. Do you think the macbook pro can be too big for you sometimes when you bring it to class?

I really can't say...I won't be using this for school as I've already graduated from college. I don't really see it being a problem though. If you're used to a smaller computer, it will definitely take some getting used to though.

im from france, and i just ordered one, im dying to ask to to make other videos, i have the old macbook pro's , but the screen wasn't godd , it was LED too , but compared to my macbook air LED , which has a beautiful screen quality, the blacks are really black , not grey and the contrast and color are much better, what do you think of the display ? is it like the macbook air, please make other video , like trying to play a movie with balck area. and make a long review, your unboxing was great,

pwnd!if you got it before 90 days when this new laptop was released you would be able to pay the difference and get the newest one. I am a long time user of Sony Vaio and I just ordered the 2599 macbook pro with 320 gb 7200rpm hard drive.

What do you people think of me getting the faster hdd? should i cancel the order and get the slower drive to prevent heat and battery drain? did anyone get the 7200 before?

that's a good question. I think the 7200 seeks faster. look at some test that were done for previous macbook pro 7200 vs 5400.
